计算机多媒体辅助盲校英语教学初探

计算机辅助教学(CAI)在盲校英语教学中的运用顺应了教育改革和发展的大趋势,符合"缺陷补偿"的教学原则,适应视障学生身心发展的需要.利用CAI可以增强视障学生英语词汇的记忆效果,为他们创设良好的语言情境,帮助他们掌握知识重点,还能发挥其主体作用,激发其学习兴趣,并及时反馈教学效果,全面提高教学效率.     

对我院男生体质状况的研究分析

体质测试结果显示:我院一、二年级男生体质评级合格率为99.7%,总体状况较好。但通过对比研究表明:在一、二年级男生之间,体质评级状况存在着显著性的差异,二年级男生体质状况明显好于一年级男生;两个年级之间在1000米跑得分上和在立定跳远得分上进行比较,都存在着非常显著的差异。     

‘Responsibility in mobility’: international students and social responsibility

Enhancing the educational experience and social connectedness for international students is the responsibility of different involved parties among whom international students themselves and host institutions play a key role. However, the question of how the condition of cross-border mobility has shaped and re-shaped international students’ responsibility towards the home and host country and other social relationships that have been formed via their mobility experiences is often neglected. This paper examines the social nature of international students’ responsibility. It is derived from a research project funded by the Australian Research Council that includes fieldwork and semi-structured interviews with 155 staff and international students from 25 institutions in Australia over 4 years. Using positioning theory as a conceptual framework, the study shows that it is important to take into account the tangible aspects of transnational mobility in understanding international student responsibility rather than merely locating their responsibility in simple cultural, personal or institutional parameters. The study suggests the important roles of host institutions and community in creating conducive conditions and opportunities for international students to exercise responsibility as social members and intercultural learners. Enhancing student social responsibility and capacity for enacting responsibility is essential for nurturing meaningful transnational citizenship.

新课程标准的实施要求教师具有较强的教学设计能力。为了让我们的高师生毕业后能胜任中学数学教学，必须加强高师生数学课堂教学设计能力的培养。具体策略：加强高师生数学学习论和教学论的学习。树立正确的教学观；明确新课程环境下数学课堂教学设计的指导思想；多种渠道、多种方式感知数学课堂教学设计；指导高师生钻研教材、探讨交流、尝试设计、反思总结。     

建立和维护国际新秩序的现实依据和行为规范--对"十六大"报告"国际形势和对外工作"部分的学习体会

中共“十六大”政治报告提出“我们主张建立公正合理的国际政治经济新秩序”。它是维护全人类共同利益的需要，是改变国际政治、经济旧秩序，应对人类社会各种安全威胁的需要。建立和维护国际新秩序，各主权国家应恪守共同的行为规范：政治上，相互尊重、共同协商；经济上，相互促进、共同发展；文化上，相互惜鉴、共同繁荣；安全上，相互信任、共同维护；反对各种形式的霸权主义、强权政治。     

A framework for revitalisation of rural education and training systems in sub-Saharan Africa: Strengthening the human resource base for food security and sustainable livelihoods

Recent studies of the current state of rural education and training (RET) systems in sub-Saharan Africa have assessed their ability to provide for the learning needs essential for more knowledgeable and productive small-scale rural households. These are most necessary if the endemic causes of rural poverty (poor nutrition, lack of sustainable livelihoods, etc.) are to be overcome. A brief historical background and analysis of the major current constraints to improvement in the sector are discussed. Paramount among those factors leading to its present ‘malaise’ is the lack of a whole-systems perspective and the absence of any coherent policy framework in most countries. There is evidence of some recent innovations, both in the public sector and through the work of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), civil society organisations (CSOs) and other private bodies. These provide hope of a new sense of direction that could lead towards meaningful ‘revitalisation’ of the sector. A suggested framework offers 10 key steps which, it is argued, could largely be achieved with modest internal resources and very little external support, provided that the necessary leadership and managerial capacities are in place.     

International student migration: a comparison of UK and Indian students’ motivations for studying abroad

ABSTRACT

This paper breaks new ground in its comparative analysis of two international student migration (ISM) streams, one from the Global South to the Global North (India to developed Anglophone countries), and the other within the Global North (UK to North America, Europe and Australia). These two ISM movements reflect different positionalities within the global system of international student movements, and hence necessitate a critical perspective on the assumptions behind such a comparison, which questions the dominance of ‘knowledge’ about ISM that derives from ‘the West’ as a theoretical template. Two methods are employed to collect data: an online questionnaire survey of UK and Indian students who are, or have recently been, studying abroad; and in-depth interviews to UK and Indian international students. Motivations for studying abroad are remarkably similar in the questionnaire results; more subtle differences emerge from the interviews.
