THE LAST DAYS OF CIVIC JOURNALISM

Almost 15 years after it started, civic journalism is waning. Some say that its practices have been integrated into the routines of news making without the label attached. Others say that it is simply dying. This study seeks to define the legacy of civic journalism by investigating the news practices in Savannah Morning News, a newspaper in Georgia, USA. Ethnographic observation and interviews found that the ideas of civic journalism were instituted in the newspaper through its presentation and the routines of discovering community news. However, it was less obvious in the discovery and gathering of news about larger events and issues. The role of the news organization in convening the public for problem solving has continued, but the role of championing particular solutions was not observed.     

Understanding Ultimate Use Data and Its Implication for Digital Library Management: A Case Study

Information professionals and librarians have been studying, discussing, and developing digital libraries for more than two decades, but understanding ultimate use of images from digital libraries remains a mystery for many of them. Most articles written on digital library use focus on users’ search retrieval needs and behavior. Few mention how digital library patrons use the images they request. Like many digital libraries, archives, and special collections, the University of Houston Digital Library makes high resolution images available to its patrons. Image delivery is achieved by an automated system, titled the Digital Cart Service. An unexpected benefit of the Digital Cart Service is the reporting mechanism that produces data that includes intended use information. This article discusses the analysis of this data to determine why images were used, what products were created from the images, and what implications this has on digital library management. The authors believe that answering these questions creates an environment in which digital library innovators can better promote and design digital libraries, and describe and select the content in them.

工程测绘的质量对工程施工及施工安全都产生重要的影响。随着社会经济和科学的不断发展,尤其是测绘技术的更新和改革,对于工程测绘质量的要求越来越高。而且,当前我国工程测绘行业的竞争也变得日益激烈,因此,提高测绘质量势在必行。本文则主要对工程测绘的技术特点、测绘过程中存在的问题以及质量控制进行了简要的论述。     

基于知识图谱的国内图书馆隐性知识研究现状及趋势分析

以CNKI收录的1999-2013年的1 735篇图书馆隐性知识研究领域文献为数据源,借助信息可视化软件——CiteSpaceⅢ,通过对发文作者及研究机构做知识图谱分析,得出该领域的代表作者及核心研究机构,并应用关键词聚类和突现词探测功能分析该领域研究热点与前沿,从而直观地揭示该领域的研究现状和发展趋势。     

基于CSSCI的国内图书馆联盟研究分析

以CSSCI（中文社会科学引文索引数据库）为数据源,综合运用词频统计、共词分析及知识图谱绘制等方法,分析国内图书馆联盟研究的现状,揭示我国图书馆联盟研究的演变轨迹。     

企业社会责任研究重点及热点文献计量分析

以美国科学情报研究所收录的＂企业社会责任＂为主题的203篇文献和798条引文作为分析对象,研究了企业社会责任的文献主题词和共引等方面情况,并对企业社会责任研究的热点、前沿及发展趋势进行探讨。     

基于CSSCI的知识管理研究可视化分析

以“知识管理”为关键词,对中国社会科学引文索引（CSSCI）数据库进行检索,采用CiteSpaceⅡ分析工具,对检索出的引文数据进行转换、分析和处理,以知识图谱的方式梳理了知识管理研究的脉络.     

专用性视角下创新型文化、创新能力与绩效

探索创新型企业文化对技术创新能力(产品与工艺创新能力)与企业绩效的影响以及技术创新能力在创新型文化与企业绩效之间的中介作用,并考察了资产专用性对创新型文化与技术创新能力的调节作用。以我国164家企业为样本,以企业规模和年限为控制变量,构建理论模型并进行检验;结果表明:鼓励和容忍的文化对企业技术创新能力具有正向影响;自由文化对企业工艺创新能力的正向影响显著。技术创新能力在创新型文化对企业绩效的影响之间起到中介作用。当资产专用性中等时,鼓励和容忍对企业产品创新能力的正向作用要大于资产专用性低或高时;自由对企业产品创新能力的正向作用在资产专用性中等时却要小于资产专用性低或高时。     

国家重点实验室体系研究现状的知识图谱分析

国家重点实验室体系在我国科技创新中发挥重要作用,如何释放其最大效能成为这一领域的研究焦点。以我国中文论文数据库为样本,借助知识图谱技术,结合Citespace可视化软件,通过定量化、可视化已有研究文献的研究热点、研究前沿、研究领域及代表性研究成果,绘制了我国国家重点实验室体系研究现状的系列知识图谱。在此基础上,给出了我国国家重点实验室体系研究急需解决的两个关键性问题。即各类国家重点实验室之间的协同创新问题、国家重点实验室体系研究主题的进一步聚焦及代表性成果的显示度问题。这为深化我国国家重点实验室体系研究奠定了理论基础,同时也为提升我国国家重点实验室体系的创新能力指明了方向。
