浅谈跨文化交际中的非语言符号

非语言符号在跨文化交际中有重要意义，研究和使用非语言符号有助于我们的语言交际。它的表现形式主要有身势语、体距语、副语言、物体语言等。它在文学作品中广为应用，在外语教学中也应引起重视。

La comunidad educativa ante la interculturalidad. Aproximación al estudio de la percepción de la misma en una escuela asturiana

Resumen

La llegada reciente y cada vez más numerosa de alumnado inmigrante a los centros educativos ha provocado cambios importantes en la dinámica de los mismos. La forma en la que la comunidad educativa ha ido construyendo su percepción sobre dicho cambio está directamente relacionada con sus prácticas profesionales y con la mayor o menor dificultad que aquél encuentra para adaptarse a la sociedad de acogida y sobre todo al nuevo sistema escolar. En este sentido, la presente investigación, que adopta el formato de estudio de caso, expresa los resultados concretos de la visión de la interculturalidad en un centro educativo asturiano de E.P., con las peculiaridades y especificidades que su dinámica interna implica con respecto a esta problemática.     

跨文化交际视角下商务英语教学中的语块理论运用探讨

近年来,对商务英语的教学研究主要集中在教学方法、课程过程性考核的改革探索、建构主义理论、BEC/NBETC测试等方面。本文将从跨文化交际角度,探求如何在商务英语教学中高效运用语块理论。从商务英语的语块特征、跨文化交际能力不足引起的商务语块误解与误用、商务语块误解与误用引起跨文化交际冲突几方面来层层剖析,得出以下结论:提升教师运用跨文化交际的综合能力,采取多样化的教学手段以提高教学效果,培养学生跨文化交际能力。     

从跨文化交际看中国留学生的文化失语现象

文化失语现象指留学生中国文化的缺失,难以用英语自如的表达中国本土文化和中国特有的文化。从跨文化交际的角度研究留学生的文化失语现象,针对中国留学生文化失语严重阻碍了跨文化双向性交流和中国文化推广的现状,找到留学生文化失语的原因:留学生对中国特色文化的缺乏;留学生交流的对象对中国基础文化知识的欠缺;留学生跨文化交际能力培养不足。因此提出留学生文化失语的对策:在跨文化交际中要坚持两种文化的平等性,相互尊重的原则;培养跨文化交际能力,从而达成成功有效的跨文化交际。     

漫谈符号和跨文化交际

中外学者对符号与交际进行了广泛深入的研究,但有关符号学理论在跨文化交际方面的应用的文章则很少见,特别是符号的表意机制则更少涉及.笔者对此想做些评述,以求教于方家.     

浅谈中国英语对中学英语教学的启发

随着中国经济的飞速发展,中国在世界发展的舞台上扮演着愈加重要的角色。中国在吸收外来文化的同时,也急需将将自己文化介绍出去,而世界也需要也解中国的文化。中国英语,渗透着中国独有的文化传统,将有效地解决国人在跨文化交际中所遇到的尴尬问题,即文化“失语”现象。

Forms of support and challenges to developing international-mindedness: a comparative case study within a national and an international school in Turkey

ABSTRACT

This paper uses mixed methods to explore perceptions of international-mindedness within two case study schools in Istanbul, Turkey: a national school with mostly Turkish students and an international school with students from many nationalities. Using a conceptual framework developed by an international education programme, the authors critically analyse pillars of international-mindedness: multilingualism, intercultural understanding, and global engagement. Findings reveal that the national school was striving to overcome limitations of homogeneity, while the international school struggled to address its assumptions that a heterogeneous population alone would be enough to encourage intercultural understanding. Neither school had developed clear conceptual links among multilingualism, intercultural understanding, and global engagement. Thus, deliberate efforts are needed to provide students with experiences that foster international-mindedness. Other researchers and educators can use this framework and associated methods to examine how international-mindedness is implemented in different schools in other regions of the world.     

非英语专业口语教学中的跨文化交际能力的培养

随着中国加入WTO和国际交往的日益频繁,社会对外语交际人才的需求量也与日俱增.本文先是结合修订后的<大学英语课程教学要求>,并运用了相关的语言学理论,分析了培养跨文化交际能力的重要性和提高英语听说能力的迫切性.然后从自身的教学实践出发,介绍了非英语专业口语教学中几种实用的文化导入的方法,旨在于有效地提高大学生英语口语交际的得体性,以适应现代社会对高素质人才的需求.
