提升"成人性":成人教育学肩负的使命

中国成人教育学的现实困境在于成人教育合法性的让渡,抑制了成人教育学的发展需求。西方成人教育学科的发展路向、教育学科的争论与反思以及当今中国成人教育的深刻转型为成人教育学提升“成人性”奠定了未来发展的方向。     

政治合法性视野下党的执政能力建设探析

政党是现代政治生活的中心,执掌国家政权是政党活动的根本目标。任何政党长期执政,都必须具备相应的合法性基础。中国共产党是中国特色社会主义事业的领导核心,是政治体系的执政力量。党的执政地位不是与生俱来的,更不是一劳永逸的。在社会转型期,中国共产党的执政合法性面临多方面的挑战。加强党的执政能力建设,是党执政后的一项根本建设。在党执政的历史方位发生变化的条件下,党要能长期有效地执政,关键在于加强党的执政能力建设,从而增强执政合法性。     

论检察权的法律正当性——检察机关组织机构改革引发的思考

在检察机关组织机构改革中,学界对检察权法律正当性的各种学说存在一定的片面性。从民主宪政思想、检察制度的发生原理及我国检察制度的理论渊源和实践经验来看,应该将检察权界定为独立的程序性国家权力。其法律正当性在于：在制度上以权力的监督制约为表征,在价值上以公平正义为追求,通过法律程序制度实现权力的监督制约,维护公平正义。     

Ethnography’s capacity to contribute to the cumulation of theory: a response to Hammersley

My aim in this paper is to raise the question of educational authority in terms of a philosophical and historical understanding in the context of a democratic polity. In particular, I wish to advance the view that educational authority in England is not well-founded since it resides increasingly with the Secretary of State for Education. This fails to reflect the public nature of education and also local conditions. The lack of appropriate authority contributes to many problems, the most prominent of which are the contested nature of education and schools provision and the frustrating fact that policies at national level change so frequently. Drawing on the discussion in Amy Gutmann’s Democratic Education, it examines differing conceptions of educational authority and proposes a tentative solution, which draws on the experience of the School Boards movement in England, 1870–1902.

E-assessment: challenges to the legitimacy of VET practitioners and auditors

This research examines what practitioners in vocational education and training (VET) organisations and external auditors judge to be the key issues in the current and future use of e-assessment. Applying the framework of legitimacy theory, the study examined the tensions around the use and growth of e-assessment in training organisations, and challenges to both training bodies and auditors around their legitimacy to operate. Forty-eight interviews, 10 focus groups and 2 industry workshops were completed with practitioners and auditors who had in-depth experience in e-assessment and audit practices. Results revealed tensions between training providers and auditors around the current validity, authenticity and security of e-assessment. However, there was also strong agreement between the groups about the practical steps for resolving these tensions between auditors and VET institutions.     

Lesbian,Gay and Bisexual teachers’ negotiations of civil partnership and schools: ambivalent attachments to religion and secularism

As legal structures for same-sex relationships are introduced in many contexts, the politics of sexuality are negotiated along religious/secular lines. Religious and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBT-Q) rights are pitted against one another such that LGBT-Q lives often assumed to be secular. Schools are crucibles of intermingling religious, secular and equality discourses and this complexity is carefully negotiated by LGBT-Q teachers in their everyday lives. Drawing on a study with LGB teachers as they entered into a Civil Partnership in Ireland (a legal structure in place for five years prior to enactment of Marriage Equality in 2015), this paper captures a ‘structure of feeling’ – new cultural work done as sexuality norms were in a state of flux. The teachers’ accounts unravel the religious/secular binary and provide insight of universal interest into the ambivalent, messy ways in which the politics of sexuality are (re)negotiated across the overlapping social fields of religion and education.     

武术文化对传统“道论”哲学的吸收与借鉴

中国武术根植于中国传统文化的“土壤”中,其形成、发展和成熟的过程也深受传统文化的滋养与影响,特别是武术文化借鉴并吸收了传统哲学中的核心思想——“道论”,使武术不仅具有搏击的功能,更具备实现中国传统文化德育和教化的功能,成为练习者提升个人修养、提高精神境界的可行手段,也成为武术区别于其他武技的最重要的文化特征。武术文化所吸收和借鉴的传统“道论”哲学,主要源于宋明理学对于“道”的理解和解释,其中“道”具有“道德”“道理”“方法”等3个层面的含义;而武术与“道论”相结合主要采取了“道器不二”和“比附与借用”2种实现途径。武术文化对于传统“道论”哲学的吸收与借鉴,不仅使中国传统文化在思想观念层面完成对武术文化的理论构建,也为自身在传统文化的大氛围中寻找到存在与发展的“合道性”依据。
