教育公平视角下少数民族基础教育的现状、问题与对策

在我国少数民族教育取得前所未有成就的同时,少数民族基础教育发展不均衡与教育资源配置不均的问题依然很突出,集中体现在民族地区的各级各类教育、城乡教育和不同民族间教育发展的不平衡现状,多数少数民族社会发展阶段还落后于全国平均水平。所以中央政府要对西部少数民族地区实施更加倾斜的政策,加大扶持力度,培育和谐社会的教育公平理念,进一步促进少数民族基础教育事业的发展。     

Integration or Separation? Addressing Religious and Spiritual Issues in Multicultural Counseling: A National Survey of College Counselors

Given contemporary ethical concerns, the authors conducted a national survey of 216 college counselors’ perceptions of integrating religious and spiritual issues in multicultural counseling and counselor education. Using cluster analysis, the authors identified 4 patterns of commitments to multiculturalism and religiosity. Respondents demonstrated ethical bracketing in that they considered religious and spiritual issues favorably within the framework of multicultural counseling, irrespective of their commitments to those topics. Counselors can openly address spiritual and religious diversity.

中原文化的概念。中原文化与中华文化、河洛文化之关系。中原文化之特点:承传的正统性、崇实性、先导性、兼容性、辐射性。从杜甫的家世及青少年时期的经历看,他是在中原文化的熏陶下成长的。李白与杜甫的相同是因为都受到中华文化之哺育,都是受盛唐时代风气的熏陶,都博采了各地域文化之精华。李白、杜甫在思想、性格和创作风格上的不同,主要是因为家庭环境不同,青少年时期所受地域文化之影响不同,李白主要是受巴蜀文化之影响;杜甫主要是受中原文化之影响。     

筚路蓝缕他乡路--意大利移民在美国的同化进程探析

意大利移民在美国走过了一条极其艰苦的同化道路。短暂逗留的“侨居”意识、格格不入的宗教信仰和传统观念、黑手党犯罪组织活动和第二次世界大战的对局使他们一度备受歧视和排斥。然而 ,经过数代人不懈努力 ,意大利移民终于逐渐摒弃陈规陋习 ,文化素质和文明程度得到极大提高 ,进入了一度对他们紧紧封闭的美国政治、经济、文化等诸多领域 ,并使璀璨的古罗马文明在兼容并蓄的美国得到传承     

美国高等教育中多元理念及其实践——基于俄亥俄州立大学的课程观察与思考

美国正迎来非同寻常的"后千禧一代":族裔最为多元化,受教育程度创历史最高。高等教育如何形塑新一代大学生的价值观,关乎整个社会的走向与未来。俄亥俄州立大学的课程设置和教育理念是对全球化与多元化社会的积极回应:人文通识课程教导学生审思国家特性,形塑学生的身份认同,正视"政治正确"与多元理念之间的困惑;系统研习移民社会史,使学生理解文化多元与社会融入议题;以"全球学习项目"构建学生的世界知识谱系,培养跨文化沟通与全球合作能力。美国高等教育面临的挑战实质上是主张多元文化思潮与捍卫西方正统文明之间的论争,认知并承认世界的多元性,才能建立一个有尊严而包容的社会。     

The vortex of multiculturalism in South Korea: a critical discourse analysis of the characterization of “multicultural children” in three newspapers

This study investigates how multicultural children have been portrayed by the Korean media, where the term is typically used to mean a child of an underprivileged Korean man and a female marriage migrant from a less industrialized neighboring country. Adopting the theoretical lens of critical discourse analysis, I examine news articles published from 2009 to 2013 in the Hankyoreh, the Hankook Ilbo, and the Chosun Ilbo: three daily newspapers representing a full range of progressive, moderate, and conservative political perspectives within society. Analysis reveals that multicultural children have been characterized as a marginalized group, as a threat to the future Korean society, or as global human resources. Given that these discourses are manifestations of underlying ideology, I also explore how these three discourses are conjoined with three competing ideologies in Korea; namely, democracy, nationalism, and neoliberalism. This study concludes by discussing how multiculturalism serves as a discursive framework through which democratic, nationalist, and neoliberal ideas gain their effectiveness.
