“四清”运动的反腐败评析及启示

在反对腐败方面,"四清"运动有其自身的特点,并且取得了一些成绩和经验,但在"以阶级斗争为纲"的指导思想下,这次运动是得不偿失的。以群众运动的方式反对腐败,有深刻的历史渊源。从中得出经验教训,群众运动是不能从根本上解决腐败问题的,其负面作用很大。在反对腐败时,走群众路线和运用群众运动的方式是有本质区别的。我们应走群众路线,完善各种法律和制度,将群众路线法制化,充分发挥人民群众的积极性。     

民国后期的竞选活动分析——以1946年广西省参议会议长竞选为中心

1946年广西省参议会议长选举是抗战胜利后地方政治权力的一次非暴力角逐。以李任仁、陈锡为首的竞选双方采取了各种各样的竞选方式和竞选策略,其中既有合法的、正当的,也有非法的、不正当的。竞选中存在的诸多不足,既暴露了民国后期法制的缺陷与不足,也反映了当时社会民主意识与氛围的局限,预示了在中国建立民主制度道路的曲折艰辛。     

内部提拔还是外部选聘:亚洲一流大学校长选拔模式研究

在考察了25所亚洲一流大学的校长选拔模式后发现,采用内部提拔模式的大学占大多数,但不同国家和地区的大学在校长选拔模式上存在较明显的差异;而在同一国家或地区中,不同大学的文化和历史背景也可能带来特定的选择倾向。从成立时间上看,新兴大学相较传统大学更容易接受外部选聘的校长;从国别或地区上看,国际化程度较高的香港的大学校长拥有极高的外部选聘,尤其是国际化选聘的比例,而日本大学的校长则多为本校培养,多具有完整的本校学习和工作经历。

19世纪末到20世纪初,美国工业社会的人才需求与传统学校教育冲突,"新学校"运动兴起,同时对20-30年代中国教育产生了深刻影响。"新学校"运动的教育主旨:教育融于生活,学校与社会同一,有效的教育产生于学习者的直接经验等观念,蕴涵着丰厚的现代职业教育理念。     

Strategic Alliance Poker: Demonstrating the Importance of Complementary Resources and Trust in Strategic Alliance Management

Strategic Alliance Poker (SAP) provides instructors with an opportunity to integrate the resource based view with their discussion of strategic alliances in undergraduate Strategic Management courses. Specifically, SAP provides Strategic Management instructors with an experiential exercise that can be used to illustrate the value creation potential of complementary resources and the role of trust in fostering resource sharing in strategic alliances. A discussion of the theoretical background, implementation, implications, and results of SAP is provided in this paper.     

地方党委、政府换届选举工作中防治拉票贿选长效机制探索

近几年,地方党委、政府换届工作中拉票贿选现象日益凸显且屡禁不止。究其原因是多方面的,主要是民主选举制度存有缺陷,权力运行缺乏制约,贿选法律惩罚缺乏刚性,民主选举监督机制缺失。防治拉票贿选的有效措施在于创新民主选举方法,改进民主管理制度,健全贿选惩罚法律,完善民主监管机制,加强民主法制教育。     

Evidence‐Based Teaching in Higher Education: Application to Counselor Education

The authors examined best practices in university‐level teaching, as premised on the evidence‐based teaching (EBT) literature found in fields external to counselor education. Findings were reported in relation to 3 areas: developing an effective learning environment, structuring intentional learning experiences, and assessing teaching effectiveness. Implications regarding the training of doctoral‐level counselor educators using EBT practices are discussed.     

维新运动时期中国翻译的选材研究

维新运动时期,中国翻译活动进入了蓬勃发展的阶段,不论是在翻译主体、翻译内容还是在翻译目的、翻译选材上,都较之于以前有较大的变化。本文把在当时的历史背景下、基于译者的翻译内在动力,针对翻译选材的变化做一个分析,找出选材发展变化的规律,并并提出对翻译研究的看法。     

Apolitical politics: GOP efforts to foster identification from Latinos, 1984–2000

The growth and youth of the U.S. Latino population at the close of the 20^th century makes them a desired constituency for both major political parties. Intriguingly, the party organization which has long resisted the recognition of internal voting blocs—the GOP—allocated unprecedented resources between 1980 and 2000 to inspire identification from Latinos. This study investigates the nature of these invitations. Specifically, it reveals how a party, whose organizational identity opposes acknowledging individuals as ethnic group members, appeals to an ethnic group. By examining (a) English and Spanish language television advertisements and (b) elite interview data with Republican Latino strategists, we argue that these ads depict satisfied Latino citizens, emphasize Latino family connections, and eschew traditional political issues. These identification strategies are notable for they may have considerable effects on the American polity at the dawn of, and well into, the 21^st century.     

Collaborating with Students to Develop an Advertising Campaign

Abstract

The Texas A&M University Libraries undertook a collaborative project with the local American Advertising Federation (AAF) undergraduate student chapter to develop a marketing campaign to advertise the availability of 30,000 netLibrary electronic books. The promotional campaign resulted in the creation of approximately 200 new user accounts and 3,800 e-book circulations within the first two weeks. The campaign of screensaver ads and posters that were developed are still in use for ongoing promotion of the netLibrary e-books. The AAF students benefited from having an ad campaign to include in their personal portfolios and the Libraries gained a creative and undergraduate student-focused advertising campaign.
