采用5W2H分析法分析了高校图书馆开展学科化服务的含义、措施、意义、时机、环境、人员、评价等要素,并结合高校图书馆学科化服务实践对其进行阐释。     

基于H.323的视频会议系统及在远程教育中的应用

网络的普及推动了视频会议系统的推广。本文首先简要介绍了视频会议的发展情况,阐述视频会议的国际标准H.323协议的发展、标准结构、系统组成和使用MCU创建视频会议的过程,并以POLYCOM公司视频会议产品为例,结合广西广播电视大学双向视频教学系统,介绍视频会议系统在远程教育中的应用。     

Cognitive development and instructional theory

The foundations of the cognitive-developmental curriculum movement are briefly examined in this paper. The key features of this movement are the recommendations it makes in three areas: curriculum sequencing, curriculum content, and teaching strategies. Each of these areas is critically examined. It is concluded that the grounds for all proposals are purely theoretical. When the data are considered, they either contradict specific proposals or provide no direct evidence.     

The impact of national research funds: A regression discontinuity approach to the Chilean FONDECYT

This paper analyses the role of national research funds in promoting scientific production in emerging economies. The study focuses on the impact of the Chilean National Science and Technology Research Fund (FONDECYT). The analysis uses data drawn from international sources of bibliometric information combined with the administrative records of the program's executing unit. To measure the program's impact, we implement a regression discontinuity (RD) design on principal researchers who applied for funding between 1988 and 1997 considering as outcomes both quantity (publications up to 2002) and quality (citations up to 2005) of their scientific production. Our results show significant and positive impact in terms of publications, but no impact in terms of quality of scientific production in the proximity of the program's threshold ranking.

野生鸟类对禽流感爆发与传播的影响

2003—2005年高致病性禽流感在亚洲、欧洲等多个国家大范围爆发,引起了全世界的关注,并将视线集中在候鸟身上。结合最近疫情,文章对野生鸟类在禽流感爆发和传播中的作用与影响予以简要分析,并提出了建议。     

双重披露制度下我国企业会计准则的趋同效果研究——基于2010年A＋H股上市公司的分析

会计准则国际趋同是现阶段的必然选择,我国也在不断努力实现趋同。该文以A＋H股上市公司的净资产、净利润的差异为切入点,基于两者差异的数额、差异比率、差异种类以及存在差异的公司数等角度剖析了我国会计准则的趋同效果,研究表明国内外会计准则已经基本趋同。     

劳伦斯小说《虹》研究综述（1955—2009）

对英国现代主义时期颇有争议的作家D．H．劳伦斯的综述,国内主要对其全部作品作了20年的评述。到目前为止国内外尚未见到对其“最好”、“最严肃”、“内容丰富”的长篇小说《虹》的研究综述,鉴于此,论文从历史的纬度对劳伦斯《虹》的50年（1955—2009）研究进行回顾与综述。     

Transcultural Risk Communication and Viral Discourses: Grassroots Movements to Manage Global Risks of H1N1 Flu Pandemic

This article proposes a theoretical framework of transcultural risk communication to examine how global connectivities influence communication about H1N1 flu. A case study was conducted to investigate risk management policies at global, regional, and translocal levels to cope with health threats posed by the emerging H1N1 flu epidemic. We explored how risk management approaches by Chinese Internet users facilitated the employment of a unique risk measure of exit and entry screening for returnees to China.
