《诗经》中的吉祥文化发微

在人类发展的低级阶段,由于生活的变化无常,人们的内心产生不安定感,因此,辟邪、纳福、求吉心理随之产生,于是表达吉庆祥瑞观念的吉祥文化便出现了。吉祥文化自然成为文学素材。《诗经》中很多诗篇表现了吉祥文化,反映了我国古代劳动人民春祈秋报、婚丧嫁娶、祝寿延年等祈祥纳福的文化心理。     

文质彬彬:《诗经》中的服饰美学

本文通过对《诗经》的细读,解析了这一早期百科全书中阐发的先秦时代的服饰美学思想,对服饰这一人体包装中透露的多种文化功能和哲学观点做出梳理,并进而解读中国古代“文质彬彬”的美学观念。     

Online homework impact in undergraduate mathematics and business statistics courses

This evaluation examines the impact on student success rates related to changes in instructional programmes in undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses. Success for students taking courses with a computer-based homework component was compared with success of students who took the course in prior semesters without the computer-based component. Graphical and analytical tools are used to compare results. Results come from multiple semesters of each type of homework application, for both pre-calculus algebra and business statistics courses. Students whose performance is utilised in this study are undergraduate students taking introductory level college mathematics or business statistics courses, with mostly no prior instruction at this level. Comparing the success of the intervention group with the success of the baseline control group, findings support that the students using the computer-based homework instruction are just as successful as those using the traditional method of homework instruction. Utilising the online homework applications, provide several important advantages in today’s universities, including the reduced time for faculty grading, consistency of graded assignments across all sections of a course and most importantly, immediate feedback for students.     

Four Perspectives on Flipping the Statistics Classroom: Changing Pedagogy to Enhance Student-Centered Learning

Abstract

The term “flipped” or “inverted” classroom includes a broad range of pedagogical innovations, and has recently received a significant amount of press. Although flipping an entire course might be a more extreme step than most are able to take, we discuss modular ideas for change that can be more easily implemented. This paper offers the perspective of four faculty members at different institutions who have all flipped material in statistics courses that were already highly interactive and activity-based. We share common pitfalls and core ideas that were found among diverse environments.     

The possibilities of exploring nontraditional datasets with young children

Today's world is characterized by the extensive production of data in different scenarios that everyday citizens need to understand for their informed participation in society. With the increase in the availability of data in a society defined by the industrious production of data, the educational system needs to think of possibilities to bring young children closer to the world of data science. This paper presents a nontraditional data exploration experience with an 8-year-old participant helped by a data visualization tool. A task-based interview was conducted while the participant explored a carbon dioxide emission dataset. This paper studied how the participant interrogates the data, draws inferences and exhibits dispositions. At the end, some reflections are presented when introducing the exploration of nontraditional data in teaching.

从宇宙生成论、天人关系论、发展变化论等方面分析 ,《淮南子》具有浓厚的易学思想。它对易学的推衍以及以“易”论理 ,推动了易学在汉代的发展 ,从而确定了《淮南子》在中国古代易学发展史上的重要地位     

中国科技期刊出版伦理建设现状调研及发展建议

调研了国内科技期刊的出版伦理建设现状,包括期刊出版伦理声明、期刊制定的与作者/同行评审/编辑相关的伦理规范、期刊对学术不端行为处理的规定及流程.我国科技期刊出版伦理建设正处于成长阶段,对标国际出版伦理规范和最佳实践,建议参考国际通用出版伦理声明设置,细化对作者署名及责任,科研数据、图像采集/处理/使用的期刊政策,科学合理地制定重复出版等期刊出版伦理政策,落实利益冲突声明政策.     

国内外科学数据出版研究进展

立足科研人员、科研机构、期刊杂志3个方面,对科学数据出版的发展现状进行阐述,分析各方对科学数据出版的态度以及科学数据出版在科学交流中的影响,总结数据仓储、机构库和期刊自行发表3种主要出版模式,并分析科学数据出版过程中所面临的元数据、隐私保护、组织技术、出版机制以及知识产权等关键问题,最后针对数据出版的发展完善提出建议。     

科技论文发表周期的量化控制

阐述登稿数、退稿率、论文发表数、论文发表周期四者的关系.在此基础上,提出了控制论文发表周期的建议.认为:在一定时期内论文发表数固定的情况下,若要有效地控制论文发表周期,编辑部应想办法控制登稿数和退稿率.
