浅谈综合英语课确立的意义

综合英语课是原高等学校英语专业低年级精读课。综合英语课的确立 ,其意义正如我国外语教学专家王仁才教授在他的《英语教学交际论》书中所说的 :“这不仅是一门课‘正名’的问题 ,而且牵动着教学思想一系列的转变 ,它推动了教材编写的革新和教学方式的演进 ,标志着我国英语教学进入到一个新的里程碑。”     

多媒体教学与高校计算机教育

高等学校使用多媒体技术进行教学的关键，是加强计算机教育。如何有计划地进行培训。建设现代化教学环境、积极推进现代教育技术的应用、如何针对多媒体的特征，发挥多媒体教学的优势进行创新教学等是当务之急。     

Relevance and Goal-Focusing in Text Processing

This article reviews the role of relevance in text processing. It argues that relevance instructions provided by instructors and texts help readers identify text segments that are germane to a reading goal. A taxonomy of relevance instructions is presented and four basic types of relevance manipulations are considered (i.e., targeted segments, elaborative interrogation, perspective, and purpose). This article also describes a four-stage goal-focusing model to explain how relevance affects attention allocation and text understanding. Directions for future research and educational implications are also discussed.     

The relationship between linguistic characteristics and reading/writing performances of Norwegian children

The relations between different word categories and children's reading and writing performances were examined in twenty 9-year-old children. Results indicated for Norwegian, which is more regular than English but less regular than Finnish, that the length and the frequency of words and their interactions are factors substantially related both to children's reading, writing time (writing velocity), and spelling performances, whereas the regularity factor affected children's spelling only. Significant intercorrelations among reading and writing (accuracy and spelling) measures were found.

英语泛读教学中阅读的技巧和方法

泛读是广泛地阅读,也就是“多读”。掌握了阅读的技巧和方法。就提高了阅读的速度和理解能力,也是“会读”。上升到阅读的最高境界,也就是“读好”。三者中“会读”尤其重要,泛读教学的目的就是提高阅读速度和理解能力。     

Language specific speech perception and the onset of reading

In two studies the relationship between theonset of reading and language specific speechperception, the degree to which native speechperception is superior to non-native speechperception, was investigated. In Experiment 1with children of 4, 6, and 8 years, languagespecific speech perception occurred maximallyat 6 years and was positively related toreading ability for age and languagecomprehension level. In Experiment 2, with anexpanded range of ages and various stimulus andtask changes, the relationship between readingand language specific speech perception stillheld, and maximal language specific speechperception occurred around the onset of readinginstruction for three different sets of speechcontrasts, but not for a control set ofnon-speech contrasts. The results show thatlanguage specific speech perception is alinguistic rather than an acoustic phenomenon.Results are discussed in terms of early speechperception abilities, experience with oralcommunication, cognitive ability, readingability, alphabetic versus logographiclanguages, phonics versus whole word readinginstruction, and the effect of age versusinstruction.

《工程制图与计算机绘图》是一门既有系统理论又与生产实践和科技发展密切相关的专业技术基础课。在课程建设过程中，作了一些探索和实践，着重在教学内容方面将工程制图与计算机绘图有机结合，在教学类型方面将课堂教学与现场教学有机结合，在教学方法方面将体验式教学法与常用教学方法有机结合，在教学技术方面将传统教学手段与多媒体可视化技术有机结合。     

初探基于计算机进行自主英语学习的教学准备——基于一项教学实验的分析和建议

本文是一份如何准备学生利用计算机进行语言学习的实验研究报告。文章介绍了研究问题和前后测中的问卷数据收集方法,探讨了哪些计算机知识学生应该掌握,通过对比所得数据分析得出相关培训在学生将计算机运用到英语学习中的必要性,并结合分析结果对实验设计进行了反省、讨论,对将来教学提出了改进意见。
