浅议人民政协对当代中国政治文化建设的作用

广义上的政治文化包括实体性政治文化和观念性政治文化,人民政协制度作为实体政治文化,其确立和不断完善体现着中国当代政治文化的建设,是政治文化建设最大的成果。作为观念性政治文化,人民政协在增进政治认同、提高民众的民主意识和宪政意识等方面也起着积极的作用,是政治社会化的重要媒介。     

通过远程开放学习改变亚洲：第25届AAOU年会主题报告解析

第25届AAOU年会于2011年9月28-30日在马来西亚槟城召开。本届年会的主题为＂通过远程开放学习改变亚洲＂。国内外远程教育的专家学者分别围绕主题以及＂文化与社会变化＂、＂质量＂、＂远程开放教育的商业模式及合作伙伴的作用＂、＂技术＂和＂未来趋势＂五个分主题开展学术研讨和经验交流。年会透露的一个共同信息为：远程开放教育经历了从以拓宽高等教育的受众群体为重心,到以信息通讯技术的创新应用和优质开放教育资源的提供为依托,以真正推动社会经济发展为核心的转变。丹尼尔的主题报告指出,槟城是亚洲基于加强法制观念扩展而变革的成功范例;远程开放学习通过扩展人们的自由意志和法制意识可以成为改变亚洲各国的重要途径;技术的有效运用不但可以降低成本,还可以提升教育质量,从而创造效益;电子学习的发展已经促使许多传统大学提供远程开放学习,但北美洲的研究表明在该领域做得出色的大学寥寥无几,较为成功的往往是盈利性的私立机构;在对待电子学习的态度方面,年轻的＂数字土著＂和年长的学生之间并没有什么代沟,以技术为媒介的学习促进学生开展深度学习;开放教育资源大学具有彻底改变高等教育的潜能。     

Digitizing Geosciences Information Proposal and Report for the Center for Research Libraries Working Group on Cooperative Collection Development in Science and Technology

ABSTRACT

A Center for Research Libraries working group on cooperative collection development in the sciences and technology identified the geosciences as a domain whose current and historical publications make ideal candidates for a digitization demonstration project, due to their utility and the diverse nature of their text, tables and images. State geological surveys engage in some of the most important and practical fieldwork undertaken by geologists. State geological surveys and maps have had a critical impact in the discovery, exploration, use and conservation of natural resources. As a consequence, close to 2,000 selected publications from the states of Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wyoming were chosen for the scope, quality and variety exhibited in them. The eighteen-month digitization pilot project will, upon conclusion, design a self-sustaining model for a continuation program.     

Participate in Professional Activities by Serving on a Conference Planning Committee: Strategies for Beginning Interlibrary Loan Professionals

The author provides guidance, based on her personal experience, to interlibrary loan staff at all levels to contribute to professional organizations outside of their own library. She encourages interlibrary loan professionals to volunteer for the planning committee of interlibrary loan specific conferences or events as one way to serve the profession on a wider scale. Furthermore, the author outlines numerous benefits and lists selected events that may accept volunteers.     

Developing Leadership Skills for Reference Librarians: The Case for Planning a Local Conference

The planning, development, and organization of a one-day or multiple-day conference is time consuming, challenging, and requires a well-prepared framework. This article discusses the guidelines and strategies developed by the Southeast Florida Library Information Network Reference Committee for the organization of a successful local conference. These guidelines offer a model for any organization that is planning a conference and for incorporating future events into the planning process. They also serve as a collaborative model for what a regional network can achieve toward promoting and providing professional development and leadership opportunities for its libraries, librarians, and library staff.     

会议文献出版特点及其资源建设策略研究

会议文献是重要的信息资源,但当前图书馆对其管理比较分散,资源建设缺乏系统性。对CPCI收录会议数据展开分析以了解其出版特点,结果发现：80％以上的会议文献在会议召开后两年内出版;会议文献在“工程技术”和“医药卫生”领域数量较多;连续性会议名称非常不规范等。在此基础上,对会议文献资源建设现状、难点进行了分析,并提出了有针对性的资源建设策略。

文章对2012年6月在苏州举行的“中国高校图书馆发展论坛暨数字图书馆前沿问题高级研讨班”进行了回顾。     

The language of the liberal consensus: John F. Kennedy,technical reason,and the “new economics” at Yale University

On June 11, 1962, President John F. Kennedy addressed the economy at Yale University. This essay explains the symbolic charge of his economic rhetoric, a persuasive campaign that enjoyed considerable success and marked the first time that a president took explicit responsibility for the nation's economic performance. I argue that the president crafted the authority to take command of the economy through construction of a liberal ethos, the use of dissociation, and a definition of the times. His arguments, in turn, were invented from the liberal matrix that dominated politics in the mid‐twentieth‐century United States and represent the ways in which that mode of discourse develops a historically contingent and politically powerful form of technical reason. President Kennedy's speech illustrates a set of strategies that can raise the status of one political language above its competitors in the process of public argument.     

苏共二十大对中国共产党的影响

苏共二十大对中国共产党的影响至深且巨.从积极方面讲,中国共产党"以苏为戒",对社会主义建设道路进行了富有成效的探索;从消极方面讲,中国共产党为维护国际共产主义运动的团结,补救赫鲁晓夫秘密报告的负面影响,大力为斯大林模式辩护,结果误入歧途.反思这段历史,对于坚定我们走中国特色社会主义建设道路,有着十分重要的意义.     

再论八大路线中断的原因

中共八大制定了正确的路线与方针,确定了中国现代化和经济改革的方针,可惜这条路线没能贯彻始终。八大路线的中断有多方面的原因,如民主集中制原则和集体领导制度遭到破坏,社会主义建设思想理论准备不足,缺乏经验;八大自身存在的缺陷以及国际共产主义运动的局限性及苏共二十大、波匈事件的影响等。
