试论近代以来台湾文学现代性发生过程中的文化保守主义思潮

文化保守主义思潮,除了一般意义上所谓的"保守"、"传统"、"固执"之义以外,还有其合理性的一面,主要表现为对人的异化现象的质疑与反拨,对殖民侵略行为的抵制与反抗,对生态环境的保护等.纵观近代以来的台湾文学发展史,台湾文学的现代性因台湾的独特历史遭遇而表现出"主动现代性"与"被动现代性"两种面貌共存的特殊性,而文化保守主义思潮恰恰起到了为"现代性"这柄双刃剑纠错、纠偏的作用.     

Diversity and Social Justice Implications for Outcome Approaches to Evaluation

It is important that counsellors provide evidence regarding the efficacy of their services. Although there has been an increased focus on generic outcome measurement of counselling programs and services, little attention has been paid to accountability issues for meeting the needs of diverse populations. This article highlights the increasing relevance of cultural diversity for evaluation practices, using examples from the Canadian context. An overview is provided of the key issues for evaluation of programs and services involving culturally diverse individuals and how evaluation must incorporate social justice issues within service provision. Evaluation strategies are elaborated along with suggestions for enhancing the intercultural competence of evaluation personnel.     

Globalization’s culture consequences of MBA education across Australia and Singapore: sophistry or truth?

A generally held view among international managers is that the cultural changes occurring in most modernizing societies may lead to similar outcomes and the erosion of cultural differences. Cultural convergence is posited to result from the homogenizing effect of technological transfers between societies. One major force which emerges from this technology transfer is the convergence of education (Webber 1969). The purpose of this study is to investigate the convergence of Masters of Business Administration (MBA) education along Hofstede’s (1997, 2001) five work-related cultural dimensions across Australia and Singapore. The pre-test and post-test quasi experimental design with control groups was employed. The findings revealed that there are convergences along Hofstede’s Individualism, Uncertainly Avoidance and Power Distance. However, the Singapore Chinese scored significantly higher on Long versus Short-term Orientation (or Confucian Work Dynamism) at both time points.     

基于文化景观的旅游化讨论

文化景观在建立和吸引新的和多样化的旅游市场方面确实可以发挥重要作用,这个观点促使地方当局鼓励当地管理人员和企业家进一步探索和发展该地区的旅游潜力。从旅游的角度看,这个新“产品”的主要兴趣点是文化和自然风光、期望和经验以及保护传统和注入创新的经济活动之间的关系。在各种景观中引入新的职能也导致当地人和游客的象征性价值的改变。这一区域性做法的一个主要假设在于文化和自然资源的共生和保护是加强区域特征的关键因素。本文讨论的重点是对改变文化景观这一不可逆转的旅游化过程的解释。了解这一转变过程对于规划和设计可持续的旅游目的地,以及最重要的制定有效的管理工具是必要的。 文化景观向旅游景观的转变需要深刻地了解当地情况和外部影响,尤其是对资产的现实评估。在这个过程中,当地利益相关者之间的协商并达成一致意见是理想情况,但很难实现。其中,教育水平的差异、金融参与的多少、所有制形式、传统习惯以及最重要的遗产地原真文化都可能产生价值和期望的分歧。对文化遗产的价值进行再评估,可以促使对本土文化的认同,并激励公众的文化创新意识和行为,同时,再评估可以增强当地社区的自豪感和责任感。 旅游和遗产,无论在哪,无论强调哪一方面,无可置疑的是文化景观受到了旅游的冲击。随着旅游的发展,决策者和旅游业者也逐渐意识到这点。然而,文化景观在文化旅游发展、促进当地经济增长方面具有重要作用,但也受到一定条件的限制,如协调保护和开发之间的矛盾。总之,教科书中没有每一个景点发展旅游的直接影响和间接影响的描述,也没有“最好”的遗产管理的蓝本。 今后这一领域研究的首要任务是深入探讨和分析从文化景观向旅游景观、从生产景观向休闲景观、从一个综合性景观向旅游功能型景观转变过程中的各个方面及其驱动因素。这种跨学科的研究方法开辟了旅游学研究的广括前景,这是其优势,但另一方面,由于这种方法带来了各种各样的观点,这无疑也是其最大的弱点。还有一些概念存在争议,比如文化景观,至今也没有关于遗产资源及其连贯性的定义,甚至没有未来休闲景观和旅游景观的最佳发展模式。因此,本文的讨论不能作出确定的结论。     

“文化霸权”之下“他者”的命运——《微暗的火》的后殖民主义解读

《微暗的火》是一部创作手法独特、叙述技巧新颖、主题表现方式隐晦的后现代主义作品。读者、作者和文本之间的智力游戏体现在阅读和探索小说之中,小说的意义难以穷尽。笔者着眼于新的角度,运用后殖民主义理论分析导致小说叙述者之一金波特孤独人生的缘由,即身处“文化霸权”之下的外来者被“边缘化”,成为“他者”。文章进一步分析得出了金波特试图摆脱“他者”身份的方法,即按照自己的理想设计人生,建立一个摆脱现实秩序的乌托邦——影子王国。

本研究以英国国家档案馆在线商店为研究对象,通过分析其产品类型、主题、价格区间、消费特征等,探究其运营保障举措,从争取政策支持、把握发展方向、构建服务平台、借助社会力量等方面提出对我国档案馆在线商店建设的参考性建议.     

对红色体育的再认识——以文化自觉为视角

运用文献资料法,对国内外红色体育研究进行综述。认为当前红色体育的发展还缺乏文化自觉,主要表现为：内涵不清、外延不准,研究方法单一,方向迷失、价值异化。按照马克思历史辩证法和黑格尔形式逻辑法,明晰了红色体育的上位概念、阐明了红色体育文化之“道”与现代化之“器”二者的关系,得出红色体育内涵,即广义上泛指国际红色文化圈内的一切无产阶级体育文化;狭义上是指中国近代红色文化话语体系下,以西式体育本土化和传统养生体育为手段的体育实践活动。红色体育的外延包括器物文化、制度文化和精神文化。红色体育的价值在于“道”“器”两方面,前者即坚持科学的、民族的、大众的体育方向,后者即为科学借鉴西方体育器物及改造传统器物     

‘Disable them all’: SENCO and LSA conceptualisations of inclusion in physical education

There is a propensity for academics and policy makers in Britain to use the terms integration and inclusion synonymously, possibly resulting in diverse interpretations of the inclusion principles laid out in the new National Curriculum. Much of the research available relating to conceptualisations of inclusion in physical education (PE) is from the perspective of teachers. Moreover, PE as a relatively unique learning environment is often neglected in much of the research that does analyse educational inclusion. In this paper, the key theoretical tools of cultural studies, in particular the concept of cultural hegemony, are used to analyse how special educational needs coordinators (SENCOs) and learning support assistants (LSAs) conceptualise inclusion in mainstream secondary school PE in Britain. Semi-structured, individual interviews explored SENCO (n?=?12) and LSA (n?=?12) educational ideologies and experiences of SEN and inclusion in PE. Open, axial and selective coding was undertaken to systematically analyse (textual) data. The research found that most conceptualisations reflected a social ideology because they focused on how educational arrangements can be made to ensure that pupils with SEN have comparable learning experiences to their age peers. Emphasis was placed on the power and influence of PE teachers, and the importance of identifying the specific needs and capabilities of pupils with SEN, as ways of ensuring that an inclusive culture can develop and is maintained in PE. The paper concludes by arguing that PE teachers and LSAs need access to PE-specific and up-to-date guidance and learning targets so that they can use the influence they have over the norms and values of PE to cultivate an inclusive culture in that subject.
