The literature on entrepreneurial orientation (EO) has confirmed the positive relationship between EO and firm performance and that relationship's dependence on several contingencies. The present study connects the resource-based view and its dynamic capability extension to introduce absorptive capacity (ACAP) as a moderator of the relationship between EO and firm performance. This theoretically derived research model is empirically validated using survey data from 219 small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany. Our empirical findings are that ACAP strengthens the EO–performance relationship in turbulent markets.  相似文献

Despite the need for information technology knowledge in the business world today, enrollments in information systems (IS) courses have been consistently declining. Student performance in lower level IS courses and student assumptions about the level of difficulty of the courses seem to be reasons for lower enrollments. To understand how student motivation may explain learning outcomes in introductory IS courses, this study investigates the impact of intrinsic and extrinsic academic motivations as framed by self‐determination theory on two measures of learning outcomes: (1) student self‐reported measures of learning and (2) actual grades obtained in courses and course components. Using 269 student responses collected in a second‐year undergraduate core course and a first‐year MBA core course, both of which are offered in a traditional face‐to‐face classroom environment, study hypotheses are analyzed. Results indicate that the motivational model explains both the affective and cognitive perceptions of learning held by students. In examining overall grades and grades in course components, the motivational model, however, was unable to sufficiently explain student performance. Data also indicate that there are significant differences between undergraduate and graduate students in terms of their motivation and learning outcomes.  相似文献

Drawing upon theories governing micro-institutions and strategic actions on resources, this study proposes a model suitable for assessing the antecedents and consequences of “Internet-Based Channel Orientation” (IBCO) on the operations of domestic companies of moderate or lesser size. Investigation focused primarily on the entrepreneurial capability (ENCAP) of such firms and industrial competition (INDCOM) as predictors of the IBCO of a business. Analysis was conducted as to whether IBCO contributed to heightened market sensing capability (MKTSENSE) and indirectly reinforced competitiveness. To this end, data was sourced from 198 firms based in Nigeria, typically micro-, small- and medium-sized businesses. Statistical analysis indicated that IBCO had a stronger and direct effect on encouraging the fluency of operations at small- and medium-sized enterprises. However, IBCO in combination with a competitive advantage was insufficient to attain competitiveness, the magnitude of such an effect being indirectly anchored to the MKTSENSE of the firm. This study highlights that businesses need to invest in Internet marketing tools and employ them effectively to stay competitive over the long term.  相似文献

创新驱动型创业作为新的创业情境对传统创业理论提出了新的挑战。新经济常态下的人工智能时代,系统化创业过程的关键成功因素(KSFs)发生动态、交互与迭代变化。基于粤港澳大湾区场景,从271份大湾区样本中获得系统化创业过程全周期分阶段的关键成功因素集,建立创业前期阶段因素集的多层次作用力递进结构模型,揭示系统化创业过程关键成功因素相互作用关系。研究发现:(1)创业过程的关键成功因素发生系统化改变,催生出组合内外部动因的新因素集。(2)系统化创业过程关键成功因素被细分和重构,凸显出因素间相互作用并创造价值的动态过程。(3)创业前期阶段的创业过程关键成功因素存在动态、交互与迭代关系。  相似文献

The author reviews twelve of 111 articles focusing on teacher efficacy published in Teaching and Teacher Education since 1985. The twelve articles are placed in three sections that include a) instruments, factor analyses, and cultural influences, b) participants, contexts, and teacher instruction, and c) teacher wellness. These sections offer research and studies from various teacher efficacy investigators that share insights, understandings, and interpretations. The selected TATE articles provide a plausible (expanding) sphere of growing and developing research and studies in teacher efficacy.  相似文献

返乡农民工创业是城乡统筹发展、工业反哺农业的重要措施;在竞争日益激烈的市场中,返乡农民工创业的机会识别、资本获得和团队建构方面存在较强约束和风险,创业教育是应对创业风险,缓解创业约束、提升创业绩效的重要措施之一。本文针对返乡农民工创业过程中存在的问题,建立基于网络学习的农民工创业教育平台,从课程设计的动态调整、系统平台的动态管理和系统技术的优化升级着手,增强课程资源的过程性和交互性,引入柔性开放式管理技术,使用基于创业过程的资源素材,增强课程资源的可视化和人性化,为创业农民工提供一个动态调整的适应性创业学习环境。  相似文献

基于知识整合的视角,以258名创业团队成员为调查对象,采用多元回归分析方法考察知识异质性、知识整合能力对团队创造力的影响,并检验环境不确定性是否调节知识整合能力对团队创造力的影响。通过回归分析发现:创业团队知识异质性正向作用于知识整合能力、团队创造力;知识整合能力正向作用于团队创造力;同时知识整合能力在知识异质性对团队创造力的影响中起到部分中介效应;在知识整合能力与团队创造力的关系中,环境不确定性产生正向调节作用。  相似文献
