Novel algorithm for complex bit reversal: employing vector permutation and branch reduction methods

We present novel vector permutation and branch reduction methods to minimize the number of execution cycles for bit reversal algorithms. The new methods are applied to single instruction multiple data （SIMD） parallel implementation of complex data floating-point fast Fourier transform （FFT）. The number of operational clock cycles can be reduced by an average factor of 3.5 by using our vector permutation methods and by 1.1 by using our branch reduction methods, compared with conventional implementations. Experiments on MPC7448 （a well-known SIMD reduced instruction set computing processor） demonstrate that our optimal bit-reversal algorithm consistently takes fewer than two cycles per element in complex array operations.     

电力系统分层快速分解法状态估计程序设计

本文首先分析了快速分解法状态估计的算法原理和求解过程,阐述电力系统分层处理的方法。然后采用基于加权最小二乘法的分层快速分解电力系统状态估计算法,建立了相应的数学模型,设计完成了分层快速分解法状态估计程序,并对程序的实现过程给予详细说明。最后对一个八节点的算例系统进行了计算,并进行了算例分析。     

Fast food,fizz, and funding: Balancing the scales of regional sport organisation sponsorship

Tobacco, alcohol and gambling-related sport sponsorships have faced widespread scrutiny due to a critical consciousness that questions the alignment of unhealthy products and damaging addictive behaviours with a healthy activity such as sport. The purpose of this study was to explore how a public health agenda may influence rugby union organisations in their negotiation of sponsorship relationships with food and beverage companies. Interviews with a purposeful sample of New Zealand regional rugby organisation managers reveal the potential influence of emergent threats about government-regulated restrictive sponsorship measures on the delivery of community and youth sport. Findings indicate that many regional rugby organisations depend on sponsorships to fund required and desired activities. In addition, some organisations in more rural regions of New Zealand not only contend with the difficulty of securing sponsorships, but fear that criticism of, and impending restrictions on, fast-food and beverage companies are likely to have detrimental consequences for the provision of rugby.

Zusammenfassung.   Dieser Artikel analysiert die Bereitstellung zuverl?ssiger IP-basierter Transportdienste im Kontext des Mobile Computing auf der Basis des Internetprotokolls TCP. Hierzu erfolgt eine Skizze der Probleme TCPs, insbesondere der TCP-Staukontrolle, in drahtlosen und mobilen Umgebungen. L?sungsans?tze zur Leistungssteigerung lassen sich in vier verschiedene Kategorien einteilen, wobei hier der Ansatz der indirekten Transportprotokolle vertieft diskutiert wird. Exploring dynamics and strategies of niche protection

This paper focuses on the processes and strategies of advocates and opponents in creating, maintaining and/or contesting the protective spaces in which ‘urgently needed’ but ‘risky’ pharmaceutical innovations are managed. Drawing on transition literature and recent work on niche protection, this paper adds to the conceptualisation and empirical grounding of niche protection by studying the dynamics of protection, in particular the different phases of niche development. Moreover, the links between niche protection processes and protection strategies pursued by niche players are explored. Dynamics of niche protection are explored in two case studies: the monitoring of treatments for HIV and of a vaccination against pandemic influenza. We conclude that niche protection depends on interactions between network building, empowerment activities and the construction of a positive niche narrative vis-à-vis anti-narratives raised by actors outside the niche. Furthermore, the nature of learning within a niche and the niche's robustness are determined by whether the strategies are predominantly accommodating or restrictive.     

A novel adjustable multiple cross-hexagonal search algorithm for fast block motion estimation

In this paper,we propose a novel adjustable multiple cross-hexagonal search(AMCHS) algorithm for fast block motion estimation. It employs adjustable multiple cross search patterns(AMCSP) in the first step and then uses half-way-skip and half-way-stop technique to determine whether to employ two hexagonal search patterns(HSPs) subsequently. The AMCSP can be used to find small motion vectors efficiently while the HSPs can be used to find large ones accurately to ensure prediction quality. Simulation results showed that our proposed AMCHS achieves faster search speed,and provides better distortion performance than other popular fast search algorithms,such as CDS and CDHS.     

快速傅里叶变换的并行化研究

研究了傅里叶变换及其实现形式快速傅里叶变换（FFT）,并给出了图像处理中FFT并行化算法,通过并行化模拟可以得出数据量愈大愈适合并行计算,当处理节点达到一定数量时它们的并行效果已不明显．     

中外两名优秀三级跳远运动员起跳技术分析

通过查询文献资料、MAT动作解析软件进行录像分析的方法获取两名中外最优秀三级跳远运动员的起跳技术参数,着重比较现代三级跳远跑跳式技术与中国快速起跳技术风格在起跳上的异同。研究认为:以 “一低,二远,三高”为训练指导思想,心理定向于“跑过板式”的起跳技术,缩短了支撑总时间,蹬伸时间更短,但缓冲时间相对较长,其结果虽然有利于减少水平速度损失,但蹬伸效率低,不能有效发挥腿部力量。为此,缓冲技术应在训练中得到重视,技术细节、训练指导思想、力量训练等方面也要相应地改进与完善。
