我国现代高等远程教育历经十余年的发展,已在数字化学习环境和资源建设领域积累了丰富的经验。但是由于各远程教育机构的开发能力和管理能力存在差距,造成数字化资源的质量良莠不齐,数字化学习的支持服务水平也存在很大的差异。尽管相关部门对资源和服务的质量进行了一系列评估、评优工作,但其评审的公正性、社会认可度、评审标准的可操作性以及评审的持续性等都存在明显不足。从国际上看,质量认证是保证教学质量的一种有效方式。与台湾、英国、美国以及欧洲等认证机构的比较发现,我国数字化学习资源与服务认证在机构性质、专家来源、认证费用、认证指标、认证流程以及认证有效期方面,都有需要改进之处。为促进优质数字化教学资源开发以及教学服务质量的提高,我国应树立以学习者需求为中心的意识,将政府支持和第三方认证结合起来,引入非教育行业的专家,积极开展认证前期培训和自我评估,注重实地考察和反馈,以制定更加科学的认证标准和构建更加公平有效的认证机制。  相似文献

The purpose of the current study was to examine grandparent support to grandchildren following the divorce of parents. Participants (N = 42) responded to questions focusing on the enactment of support and relationships with grandparents. Through these retrospective, self-report accounts, six categories of grandparent support were identified. Additionally, four barriers to grandparent support emerged from the responses of the grandchildren. These categories of and barriers to intergenerational social support are discussed as they relate to characteristics and expectations of provided support in post-divorce families.  相似文献

This study examined the association between social network support and relationship quality of romantic partners among American and Korean college students. As predicted, findings indicated that Americans involve their family and friends more in their romantic relationships and, accordingly, get more support from them for their relationships than Koreans do. However, the results did not support the hypothesis that Koreans would perceive social network support as more important for their romantic relationships. Instead, network importance negatively mediated the effects of social network on relationship quality only for Americans. The positive associations between network support and relationship quality were not differential between the two samples. Implications for culture and close relationships are discussed.  相似文献

The contemporary U.S. debate over abortion has been waged as a battle between <life> and <choice>. The author traces the development of these ideographs, arguing that through their verbal and visual strategies, advocates on both sides of the issue have rendered ideographic meaning concrete. Whereas the fixed definitions have served the cause of <life> well, they have been detrimental for <choice>, leading advocates to seek out ways to revitalize the debate. The 2004 March for Women's Lives was a key event in this larger effort; through it, participants revitalized the abortion debate, bringing renewed flexibility to the ideograph <choice> at the same time it challenged the fixed status, and the veracity, of the ideograph <life>.  相似文献

Esteem support is a particular form of social support that is provided with the intent of enhancing how others feel about themselves and their attributes, abilities, and accomplishments. This study examines the association between perceptions of esteem support message helpfulness and (a) characteristics of the esteem support situation, (b) the relationship between provider and recipient, and (c) features of the perceived esteem support message. Participants (N = 55) recalled two esteem-threatening situations, one for which they received helpful esteem support and another for which they received unhelpful esteem support. Messages and features of situations and helpers were coded. Results indicate that features of the esteem support message and the helper are related to perceptions of messages helpfulness.  相似文献

Communication between parents and their young adult children serves as an important foundation for healthy development and successful socialization. When communicating support, parents may struggle to find a balance between comforting their child while also encouraging their personal growth and development. In certain situations, parents may communicate tough love in order to accomplish their different goals. This study examines 67 interviews involving parents and their young adult children to explore how they discuss and understand tough love in their relationships. Results illuminate five themes regarding the distinguishing features of tough love and three themes around the outcomes of tough love in parent-child relationships.  相似文献

This article presents a 2-year participatory intervention developed in a secondary school. Based on the European project Catch-EyoU, fostering a critical and active European citizenship, Theatre of the Oppressed (TO) was used with students to develop individual and collective reflection on the possibilities of political change over dating violence. Summary

This paper explores the roles of students supporting technology in elementary classrooms. Students' primary role in the classroom is not to support teachers, but with technology, teachers take advantage of support in many forms. This paper classifies the ways in which students were found to support technology in the classroom, taking advantage of their expertise to help the teacher and other students. In some cases, students' efforts provided positive benefits to the teacher and other students, and in other cases, the students' efforts caused more problems than they solved.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Residents across a state were asked about their opinions about a regional university. Using closed- and open-ended questions in mailed surveys, information about university image was collected. Results indicate that residents have one of two opinions about the university—either they have a general, positive opinion (halo effect) or no opinion. LISREL modeling of the data point to the significant components of university image and how they influence the decision to send a son or daughter to the university, which in turn leads to a better understanding of the impact of university image. More work with varying populations and a variety of universities needs to be published to contribute to a general, overall understanding of the impact of university image.  相似文献
