《中国图书馆分类法》（第5版）的修订特点及应用对策

《中国图书馆分类法》（第5版）的修订主要表现为类目或局部类目体系的合并、分出和改序等变化。类目合并分为下位类合并到上位类、同位类或相关类目间的合并。类目分出分为上位类分出的内容增设下位类、同位类或相关类目分出的内容增设新类目。类目改序分为类序、类级、隶属关系的调整及增改注释等。凡属于粗分、细分之间的变化的类目,一般不用改编原分编文献;如果属于类号相差甚远、与文献原归属类目距离较远、被新类目占号的情况,应当改编文献,以免造成藏书混乱。     

Assessing writing: Are we bound by only one method?

The present study describes the way one institution operationalized the notion of process-oriented writing assessment in its entry placement testing context. In an attempt to enhance how it assesses academic writing ability, a workshop-based essay test was proposed in place of the existing, traditional timed essay test. The study looked at how the tests from the two different approaches in writing assessment (product-oriented and process-oriented) affected examinees’ test performance by comparing both the textual quality of the test essays and the placement results. Content-area faculty evaluations of the examinees’ writing ability and the examinees’ view on the tests were also used in evaluating the quality of the tests. The results suggested that assessment methods have an impact on the examinees’ test performance. Even though further evidence is needed for a better understanding of the result, a traditional method of direct writing assessment seemed to put examinees at a disadvantage. The new test was implemented in the given research context and implications of writing assessment in general are discussed.     

云南叉蕨属(Tectaria Cav.)的增补与订正

叉蕨属是蕨类植物的大属之一，全世界约150种，分布于世界热带及亚热带地区。据记载，中国 有27种、2变种，分布在长江以南，仅有2种北达长江以北四川境内，而大部分种类集中分布在云南。近 来，笔者主要对保存在中国科学院昆明植物研究所标本室的标本进行了清理，也参考了中国科学院植物 研究所标本馆的标本，这些标本不少是近年来所采集，其中，发现1新种并有1种和1变种为中国新记 录，1种为云南新记录，1种为贵州新记录，有4个种名是新异名，即Tectaria cosimilis Ching et C．H．Wang， T．decurrenti-calata Ching et C．H．Wang，T．fengii Ching et C. H．Wang，T．Simaoensis Ching et C.H．Wang。至此，所知云南产叉蕨属有22种、2变种。     

东亚和南亚马兜铃属的修订

本文通过对东亚和南亚马兜铃属的研究，修改了马兜铃属的分类系统，补充论证了演化趋势；并   在分析该属地理分布的基础上提出马兜铃属分布与分化的第二个中心——中国的横断山区。  本文确   认2亚属、7组、4系、68种和1变种，其中有3新组、2新种及13个新异名。     

The effects of content and audience awareness goals for revision on the persuasive essays of fifth- and eighth-grade students

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of revising goals focused on content and audience awareness on the persuasive writing of fifth- and eighth-grade students. Students were randomly assigned to three different goal conditions: a general goal; a goal to improve content; and a goal to improve content and communication with an audience. Final drafts of essays were scored for elements of persuasive discourse relevant to content and audience and for overall persuasiveness. Students in the audience goal group were more likely than both other groups to consider opposing positions and rebut them. Students in both the content and audience goal groups wrote essays that were more persuasive than essays by students in the general goal group. The results also indicate that eighth-grade students wrote more persuasively than fifth-grade students and that girls wrote more persuasively than boys.     

吴伟斌先生关于元稹诗文系年的失误

吴伟斌先生是近20年元稹研究领域最活跃的人物，最近他发表了一系列章讨论《元稹年谱》的系年失误，虽有可取之处，但由于种种原因，导致了一系列不小的错误。清理这些错误，对于促进原本比较薄弱的元稹研究具有重要的意义。     

浅析农地价格因素修正法中指标层的细化

产值倍数法在中国快速城市化进程中已经不能合理测算农地补偿价格,而合理农地征收补偿是农民切身利益的体现,关系社会的安定和谐及城市化战略的实施。本文通过引入已有的农地价格因素修正法,对其评价指标层的指标进行选取,以对指标层进行细化,建立一个完善的评价指标体系,对我国农地征收补偿方法的研究具有一定的意义。     

Elementary Statistics with Minitab

Computer packages are available which can take much of the tedium out of the computational aspects of statistics and, we hope, thereby improve comprehension of the concepts. This article describes how the software package Minitab was incorporated into two elementary statistics courses, one at Kingston Polytechnic in England, the other at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the United States.

马克思主义是一个过程,其发展的行程是一个斗争的历程,是在与各种反马克思主义思潮数次交锋的胜利中前行的,道路曲折,前途光明。在我国当前的社会主义实践中,对马克思主义的发展必须建立在坚持和继承的基础上,同时还要防止对马克思主义的种种曲解。
