从名籍到谱牒:中古中国的皇族档案

秦汉时期的皇族档案,主要是宗室名籍和根据名籍编撰而成的帝王诸侯世谱、年谱。至中古时期（魏晋南北朝隋唐）,皇族档案的形式和编撰制度出现了新进展：在魏晋南北朝,皇族档案呈现出“谱牒化”和“士族化”倾向;至唐代,皇族谱牒编撰又展现出“制度化”和“多样化”特点。     

Nullis in Verba: Advancing Research through Transparency and Openness

Nullis in verba was chosen as the motto of the Royal Society, as it embodied the culture of transparency and collaboration that were the hallmarks of the Royal Society and of the scientific method it promoted. Communication, using the tools of the day, was essential to this community of scientists as they created and shared new knowledge. Almost three hundred years later, libraries continue to advance principles relating to the importance of collaboration and transparency. This two-part article series, published jointly in International Information and Library Review and Technical Services Quarterly explores notions of transparency and collaboration in research and how these ideas are impacting the world of librarianship – from information creation, organization and access perspectives.     

Judges’ delivery of ground rules to child witnesses in Australian courts

Ground rules directions are given to children in forensic interviews to explain what is expected of them, and to reduce their tendency to acquiesce to erroneous or incomprehensible questions. Ground rules may also be necessary when children provide testimony in court. Drawing on research conducted for the Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, the present study examined the use of ground rules directions delivered in court in 52 trials by 24 presiding judges in three jurisdictions to 57 child complainants (aged 7–17.5 years). Eleven categories of rules were identified. The number of words spoken to deliver each rule was counted, and grade-level readability scores were calculated as a proxy for the complexity of the ground rules. When judges asked comprehension or practice questions, the question types were coded. More than one third of the children (35%) received no ground rules directions from the judge; the remaining 65% received directions on an average of 3.5 types of ground rules out of a maximum of 11 types. While comprehension questions were common, practice questions were rare. Comprehension questions were most often presented in a yes/no format that implied the expected response, although this form of question is unlikely to provide an effective assessment of a child's comprehension. Neither the number of rules delivered nor the number of words used was related to children's age. Implications for children's court testimony are discussed.

In fall 2016, the Columbia-Cornell collaboration in the area of Slavic & East European resource coordination and sharing celebrated its sixth year. The author reviews particulars of the development, implementation, and function of this program as well as some of the challenges that face such cross-institutional efforts.

《诗经》无长篇史诗原因探究

由《诗经》中有无史诗引出为何无长篇史诗的关键问题,《诗经》没有长篇史诗的原因较复杂,影响它的因素很多,特别是周人单一神教、人神分离的宗教思想,具有明确政治目的的采诗制度以及q-国诗歌重抒情、言简意赅的特点影响了长篇史诗的形成。     

甲螨采集和分离技术的研究

本文采用电热分离法、清水漂浮法和振动分离法对不同样本中甲螨的分离时间、数量，样本的放置时间及电热分离所用热光源作了比较。结果证实，分离土壤甲螨时．采土深度以１０ｃｍ为宜，土壤放置７天与立即分离所获甲螨数无差别。少量土样直用清水漂浮法，大量土样宜用电热分离法。而植被样本宜用振动分离法。
