论电大远程开放教育中的服务转变

电大远程开放教育要从根本上为人的素质提升创造条件,增强对成人学员的吸引力,必须强化服务上的系列转变。一是服务意识的转变,二是服务理念的转变,三是服务模式的转变。只有做到服务的便捷化、情感化、人性化,才能不断提升远程开放教育的服务质量与水平。     

英汉语言性别歧视现象比较研究及成因透视

性别歧视现象在英汉语言中大量存在。本文从构词造字、语义变化以及称谓和词序等方面对英、汉两种语言中的性别歧视现象及其成因进行对比分析,旨在使人们意识到性别歧视现象并不是孤立的语言现象,对它的理解不能脱离社会和文化的背景。     

Identifying best practices for “Safe Harbor” legislation to protect child sex trafficking victims: Decriminalization alone is not sufficient

Several states have recently enacted “Safe Harbor” laws to redirect child victims of commercial sexual exploitation and child sex trafficking from the criminal justice system and into the child welfare system. No comprehensive studies of Safe Harbor law implementation exist. The nine state Safe Harbor laws enacted by 2012 were analyzed to guide state legislators, health professionals, law enforcement agents, child welfare providers, and other responders to the commercial sexual exploitation of children on the development and implementation of state Safe Harbor laws. The authors conducted 32 semi-structured interviews with Safe Harbor experts in these states. Participants conveyed that Safe Harbor legislation signified a critical paradigm shift, treating commercially sexually exploited youth not as criminals but as vulnerable children in need of services. However, Safe Harbor legislation varied widely and significant gaps in laws exist. Such laws alone were considered insufficient without adequate funding for necessary services. As a result, many well-meaning providers were going around the Safe Harbor laws by continuing to incarcerate commercially sexually exploited youth in the juvenile justice system regardless of Safe Harbor laws in place. This was done, to act, in their view, in what was the best interest of the victimized children. With imperfect laws and implementation, these findings suggest an important role for local and state responders to act together to protect victims from unnecessary criminalization and potential further traumatization.     

乌鲁木齐市A级旅游景区系统空间结构分形研究

旅游景区系统的空间结构不仅影响区域设施空间布局,同时也影响区域空间结构的优化和调整。基于分形理论,对乌鲁木齐市A级旅游景区系统空间结构进行研究,以唯一的5A级旅游景区天山大峡谷为中心,测算聚集维数以及基于乌鸦距离和乳牛距离的空间关联维数。结果表明：乌鲁木齐市A级旅游景区系统的空间结构存在明显的双分形特征,总体上呈现聚集分布,分布密度由中心向四周衰减较快,在演变过程中可能出现多中心并存的格局;系统空间结构具有自组织优化趋势,各景区之间关联程度较高,但总体交通通达性一般,交通网络体系还不够完善。据此提出多中心协同发展模式、大力打造主题式景区、开发精品自驾游路线等建议,形成旅游空间网络体系。     

职业教育吸引力的驱动机制研究:一个利益相关者视角

职业教育是我国教育系统的四大类型之一,其利益相关者之间的关系成为其吸引力提升的突出因素。不同利益相关者的利益诉求不同,其价值预期、利益偏好和行为方式直接影响职业教育可持续发展。从政府的政策支持机制、企业的价值诱导机制、师生的学习成长机制、院校的质量保障机制、媒体的舆论引导机制以及第三方机构的社会参与机制等,驱动职业教育吸引力的提升,以推动我国职业教育的稳定与健康发展。     

Cads,Dads, and Magazines: Women's Sexual Preferences and Articles about Sex and Relationships

The framing of sexual content in women's magazines reflect two different approaches to the selection of a romantic partner: the selection of (a) a stable partner for a long-term relationship vs. (b) an attractive rogue for a fling. The effects of such framing on women's partner preferences were explored in this laboratory experiment. Women with different relationship goals were randomly assigned to read an article from a women's lifestyle magazine (Cosmopolitan) that framed sex in either relational or recreational terms before completing explicit and implicit measures of partner trait preferences. Article frame did affect the importance of appearance-related traits in a potential romantic partner as well as implicit preferences for frame-consistent partner traits. Results are discussed in terms of media framing effects.     

Making Sense of Fractured Identities: Male Professors’ Narratives of Sexual Harassment

The university has become a site of increased debate over policy and procedures as the experience of sexual harassment reaches all levels of the academic hierarchy. Although this topic has been researched thoroughly, few studies have explored sexual harassment through the voices of men in academe. In this study, sexual harassment is explored from the perspective of two men who are tenured, full professors at a southwestern university. This research employs narrative analysis to locate patterns of discourse that illuminate fractured identities. Through the examination of these fractures, this analysis exposes the ways gender, identity, and sexual harassment are intertwined within academe.
