大数据背景下“统计学”课程教学方法研究

大数据技术飞速发展给统计学带来机遇和挑战,大数据背景下,统计学专业培养目标当顺应时代变化有所调整,教学方法方面需要体现传统统计学和大数据背景下数据分析的异同,开发各类贴近实际、可操作性强的教学手段,统筹兼顾相关课程,提高教学质量促进学科发展。     

浅谈教育统计在学校管理中的运用

教育统计在高等学校管理中具有重要的作用,也逐渐成为提高高等学校管理水平的重要手段之一。本文就如何在学校管理中运用教育统计手段、统计信息进行科学管理、科学决策进行简要论述。     

Why do we need to employ Bayesian statistics and how can we employ it in studies of moral education?: With practical guidelines to use JASP for educators and researchers

In this article, we discuss the benefits of Bayesian statistics and how to utilize them in studies of moral education. To demonstrate concrete examples of the applications of Bayesian statistics to studies of moral education, we reanalyzed two data sets previously collected: one small data set collected from a moral educational intervention experiment, and one big data set from a large-scale Defining Issues Test-2 survey (DIT). The results suggest that Bayesian analysis of data sets collected from moral educational studies can provide additional useful statistical information, particularly that associated with the strength of evidence supporting alternative hypotheses, which has not been provided by the classical frequentist approach focusing on P-values. Finally, we introduce several practical guidelines pertaining to how to utilize Bayesian statistics, including the utilization of newly developed free statistical software, Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP), and thresholding based on Bayes Factors (BF), to scholars in the field of moral education.     

经济学专业统计学课程教学改革浅谈

统计学属于经济学类专业的核心课程,针对经济学专业中学生有很大一部分是文科学生,数学基础相对较弱,导致目前经济学专业学生统计学课程总体教学效果不理想的现象,从教学方法、教学手段、教学内容、考核方式等方面入手,对经济学专业统计学课程进行教学优化设计,并革新以往偏重理论知识的考核模式,探索引入偏重方法应用的实践考核模式。     

Two‐dice horse race

We analyse the “two‐dice horse race” task often used in lower secondary school, in which two ordinary dice are thrown repeatedly and each time the sum of the scores determines which horse (numbered 1 to 12) moves forwards one space.

美国国家教育统计中心在描述和评价美国教育状况,辅助联邦各级政府及社会各界进行决策的过程发挥了不可替代的作用。文章对美国国家教育统计中心的产生和发展的历史背景、组织架构、运行模式以及其在高等教育领域中的应用进行简要介绍,在详细分析其运行机制的基础上,提出对我国高等教育信息数据库建设和管理的建议。     

Media Naturalness and Online Learning: Findings Supporting Both the Significant- and No-Significant-Difference Perspectives

Is the use of an online course delivery format, when compared with the more traditional face‐to‐face format, good or bad in the context of university education? Those who subscribe to the no‐significant‐difference perspective argue that online delivery is good, because it allows students with time and geographic distance constraints to obtain the education that they need, with no significant negative impact on the quality of the learning experience. Others argue that online delivery is bad, advocating a version of the competing significant‐difference perspective, because the electronic communication media used for online delivery are not rich or natural enough to enable effective learning. This study contrasted students perceptions and grades in two different sections of the same course: one delivered entirely online and the other delivered face to face. Data were collected and analyzed at two points in time, namely, at the middle and end of a long semester. The study found support for both the no‐significant‐ and significant‐difference perspectives. At the middle of the semester, students in the online condition perceived communication ambiguity as significantly higher, and also obtained significantly lower grades, than students in the face‐to‐face condition. At the end of the semester, no significant differences were found.     

基于504种CSSCI来源期刊的编辑体例标准化状况调查报告

基于2008—2009年度528种(实际有效取样504种)CSSCI来源期刊,从作者信息的编排、中文摘要和中文关键词的编写、英文摘要和英文关键词的编写、注释和参考文献的编排、责任编辑署名五个方面调查统计这些期刊的编辑体例标准化状况。调查结果表明,CSSCI来源期刊的编辑体例标准化程度较低,亟待规范。     

电子资源日志统计系统分析与设计

电子资源日志统计能够提供电子资源评价体系中数据库利用与效用方面的量化指标。设计一种电子资源日志统计系统ERLS,解决其中日志预处理、电子资源统计指标与统计方法、用户定制的动态报表生成等关键技术,并设计开发了原型系统。
