教科书城市化倾向的原因分析

研究表明教科书存在一定的城市化倾向,文章主要从城乡教育二元化格局、新课程设计理念、教科书编写队伍人员、教育资源配置不平衡等四个方面分析了教科书城市化倾向的原因,期望能为消除或者减轻教科书城市化倾向带来的消极影响提供一些途径选择。     

The treatment of the Holocaust in high school history textbooks: a case study from Spain

The Holocaust was one of the most significant events of contemporary history and still has great relevance for current times. This paper analyses the portrayal of the Holocaust in secondary education history textbooks in Spain. As this type of research has grown in the international arena, the need to review critically this event in Spanish textbooks has become ever more evident. This paper reviews what has already been written on this subject in the international arena and makes a number of methodological observations both quantitatively and qualitatively. In the review, a number of deficiencies in the representation of the Holocaust were found. This strongly indicates the need to contextualise the study of the Holocaust and frame it within a structural perspective that would account for its multi-causal origin. Attention is also drawn to the need to improve the content, dispel some myths and improve deficiencies identified in textbooks on the subject.

《最新微积学教科书》是清末"壬寅学制"与"癸卯学制"颁布后,首套《最新教科书》中的第一本微积学教科书.它是中国新学制颁布后第一本内容比较完善的微积分教科书.该书最大的特点在于强调概念的解释,注重结合例子加以说明,是一部浅显易懂的微积学入门教科书.它出版于中国高等教育严重缺乏教科书的特殊时代,为当时中国高等教育开展微积分课程起到了一定的推动作用.     

Reading religion in Norwegian textbooks: are individual religions ideas or people?

Different religions are treated in different ways in Norwegian sixth form textbooks. We carried out an exhaustive content analysis of the chapters devoted to individual religions in textbooks for the Religion and Ethics course currently available in Norway, using rigorous indicators to code each word, image and question according to whether they were treated the religion as a set of ideas or a group of people. After adjusting for trends in the different kinds of data (word, image, question), we found that Buddhism and Christianity receive significantly more attention for their ideas than Hinduism, Islam and Judaism, which are treated more as people. This difference cannot be explained by the national syllabus or the particularities of the individual religions. The asymmetry also has implications for the pupils’ academic, moral and pedagogical agency for which teachers play a critical role in compensating.     

关于提高专业教材出版质量的思考

作为高校教学重要工具的教材,其编写和出版质量对提高教学质量至关重要.一些高校专业教材的出版质量不佳,造成这一现象的主要原因是教材编写定位不准确、作者选择不当、缺乏编写经验以及非专业和不规范出版.要提高专业教材出版质量,必须从选好作者、制订好编写计划、认真审查以及规范出版等方面下功夫.     

远程教育中印刷教材编写模板的设计研究

印刷教材是远程教育中历史最悠久,成本最低廉,使用最频繁的资源形式。但是,随着现代信息技术的广泛应用,印刷教材有被边缘化的趋势,功效逐渐弱化,值得关注。对比我国印刷教材与英国开放大学及英联邦学习组织出版的印刷教材的要素之间的异同,可以发现：中央广播电视大学印刷教材主要是为多媒体资源提供内容,忽略了指导学生如何有效使用多媒体资源的作用;且自身特色不够显著,助学要素不完整,导学活动简单,导学促学作用有待加强;延续传统教材版面设计方法,内容拥挤、字号偏小、提示和重点不够突出,较少使用图表。因此,课题组进行了印刷教材编写模板设计。该模板是针对电大合一型教材开发的,力图汇集所有的编写要求,特别强调学习目的和学习活动两个关键要素。根据新的编写模板,建议修订电大现有的教材编写规划和技术标准,以全面提高我国远程教育印刷教材的规范化程度和质量水平。

介绍了我们在高职教材开发建设方面的做法，以专业课为重点开发教材建设，将实习课教材引入教材体系，教师和企业工程技术人员相结合开发适用的高职教材。     

What are Students Being Taught about Ethics in Public Speaking Textbooks?

Current conceptions of communication and ethics were investigated in the top ten public speaking textbooks in the communication discipline. Content analysis was used to examine eight ethical topic areas within each textbook. Results indicate the textbooks by Lucas, Jaffe, Beebe and Beebe, and Brydon and Scott provide the most overall coverage to ethics. In addition, plagiarism, ethnical listening, honesty, and ethical research are discussed most frequently while freedom of speech, hate words, and codes of ethics are least discussed among the top ten selling public speaking books. Each author references different philosophers, defines ethics, and describes the consequences of cheating in diverse ways. The implications of how ethics is not given the same amount of space in the top ten best-selling public speaking textbooks are discussed.

This paper presents the results of a study of the development of pupils’ knowledge of the process of photosynthesis and the related biological processes of respiration, breathing and digestion. The information already known to primary pupils untutored in biology was assessed and the changes effected by teaching were monitored in the secondary school.

The results indicate that concepts which are wrong but which are nevertheless meaningful to the learner may escape detection by the usual methods of testing and are highly resistant to replacement by correct information. The formation of wrong concepts may predate formal instruction or may arise during the course of instruction as a result of the inappropriate use of subsuming information.
