通过对广东省高校图书馆员问卷调查,探讨人口统计学变量下的组织承诺状况。研究结果表明:年龄、婚姻、本单位工作时间和所在岗位四个方面因素对组织承诺具有显著的影响;性别、学历及职称三方面因素对组织承诺不具有显著影响。根据以上结论,对高校图书馆人力资源管理提出建议。  相似文献

针对图书馆社会责任许多理论问题存在诸多分歧的现实,本文从图书馆本质视角对图书馆社会责任进行思考,指出图书馆的社会责任在本质上是基于服务性职能履行与利益相关者缔结的各种契约,其逻辑起点是由利益关系所衍生的服务性与契约性.据此可把图书馆社会责任分为法律责任、经济责任、伦理责任和超规范责任,由此构建了图书馆社会责任的概念模型.图书馆履行社会责任有质的区分,对因服务运营直接或间接产生的社会问题,图书馆应积极主动地承担全部责任;对与服务运营无关的由社会其他力量或自然灾害所产生的社会问题,图书馆在自己的能力范围内,适度承担.  相似文献

运动承诺是指个体渴望和决心继续参加体育运动的一种心理状态,对个体的运动行为和心理有重要影响。研究对国内外运动承诺的理论模型和测量工具的发展过程以及应用研究现状进行分析。研究结果表明,经过多年的持续研究,运动承诺模型的科学性和测量工具的信效度在不断改进,研究范围在不断扩大。在运动承诺与运动行为、运动承诺与运动参与者的心理以及运动承诺的影响因素等方面取得了丰富研究成果。但在研究中仍然存在研究工具使用不规范、本土化研究偏少的情况。今后的研究一方面需要进一步加强运动承诺理论模型的研究,另一方面需要编制适用不同类型和水平运动群体的测量工具,提高研究的科学化水平。  相似文献

This study examined the predictive relationships among teachers' perceptions of principal's and immediate supervisor's empowering behaviours, teachers' psychological empowerment and three teachers' work-related outcomes in terms of job satisfaction, organisational commitment and professional commitment. 304 teachers in Singapore participated in this study. Results from path analysis indicated that the four dimensions of psychological empowerment (i.e. ‘meaning’, ‘competence’, ‘autonomy’, and ‘impact’) mediated the relationships between teachers' perceptions of immediate supervisor's empowering behaviours and teachers' work-related outcomes. However, only ‘meaning’, ‘autonomy’ and ‘impact’ dimensions of psychological empowerment mediated the relationships between teachers' perceptions of principal's empowering behaviours and teachers' work-related outcomes.  相似文献

The current paper analyses in depth and expands on the study of the consequences of organisational commitment in the MNC setting. To that end the moderating effect of uncertainty avoidance as a personal cultural value is studied and two consequences of MNC commitment are analysed: intent to leave and organisational citizenship behaviour. The empirical analysis carried out on a cross-organisational sample of 101 top managers of MNC's subsidiaries located in Spain confirms the moderating role of uncertainty avoidance for the affective and normative commitments, as well as its moderating effect on the influence that organisational citizenship behaviour role definition exerts on intent to leave. Implications for management theory and practice are discussed.  相似文献

This paper examines the question of whether there are useful general thinking skills. It offers a working definition of 'thinking skill' and identifies ways in which this concept has been over-applied. Thinking skills, used across domains, are not inevitably weak as a result of the generality-power tradeoff. Admitting that thinking skills require domain-specific knowledge for their application, it is contended nonetheless that there are general thinking skills that involve substantial amounts of domain-independent knowledge. These skills usually address 'generic thinking tasks', common mental challenges that people face in many practical and intellectual endeavours, including the 'domain of practical affairs'. This preliminary study examines the utility of the Community Engagement Commitment Scale and reports on factors that predict student-teachers' commitment to community engagement in their second year of study at a South African university. Independent variables included Dalbert's personal belief in a just world, an adaptation of Rusbult et al.'s original predictors of Commitment level (Satisfaction, Quality of alternatives, Investment size) and a new factor, Meaningfulness. The latter factor is based theoretically on the work of Lieberman and Heine, Proulx and Vohs and was included to study the extent to which identity-expression could be related to Commitment level. We administered the Community Engagement Commitment Scale on a non-random sample of 414 student-teachers in their second year of study, who all participated in compulsory community engagement project. The results support a four-factor model of Commitment with Meaningfulness, Quality of alternatives and Investment as predictors of Commitment level. Surprisingly, all the Satisfaction items loaded with the Commitment level items on one factor. Together, Meaningfulness, Quality of alternatives and Investment accounted for approximately two-thirds of the variance in Commitment level. Significant (p?Meaningfulness and Commitment level. The results of the study suggest the importance of studying meaningfulness as an additional predictor of Commitment level in community engagement contexts.  相似文献

To teach, and to teach at one's best over time, has always required resilience and commitment. Drawing upon findings of a questionnaire survey of 568 primary and secondary school teachers in Beijing and in-depth semi-structured interviews with a sub-sample of six teachers with different years of experience, the paper provides empirical evidence about how teachers sustain their sense of resilience and commitment in the context of persistent top-down neoliberal reforms in China's educational system. It argues that being a resilient teacher means more than “bouncing back” from difficulties. Rather, it is influenced by the nature of the contexts in which teachers' work and lives are embedded and driven by their vocational commitment to serve the learning and achievement of the children on an everyday basis and also, over the course of their professional lives.  相似文献
