资源集合元数据标准探析

在数字图书馆建设过程中,资源集合无处不在,建立其元数据标准,是提供资源集合网上服务和数据交换的基础。本文分析了资源集合的概念、现有的资源集合元数据标准及资源集合与资源对象的关系,认为资源集合也是一种资源对象,从而提出可以采用适用于资源对象元数据标准的方法——元数据深度来分析资源集合,从而使资源集合元数据标准的建立更为简单化。

文章通过对数字信息资源保存研究论文的统计分析,描述了数字信息资源保存研究的主要内容,归纳了数字信息资源保存研究存在的问题,并提出了优化数字信息资源保存研究的对策。     

一种数模混合控制的AC-DC开关电源的设计

文章介绍了一种数模混合控制的AC-DC开关电源,PFC电路用芯片UCC28180模拟控制,LLC部分及CAN通信用DSP进行数字控制.传统的AC-DC电源做法是把DSP的地取在主变压器的原边,输出端电压和电流用昂贵的线性隔离光耦采样后传递给DSP.本研究的开关电源是把DSP的地取在副边,省去了线性隔离光耦,降低了成本,且增加了输出电压和电流的控制精度.文中给出了基于UCC28180的PFC电路相关参数的详细计算.实验结果证明了方案的可行性.     

大学英语大规模口语测试的探讨研究

本文分析了开展大学英语口语测试的必要性以及普及面对面口语测试所面临的问题,通过燕山大学近千名学生成功进行数字化口语考试的实例研究,探讨了推广普及大规模数字化口语测试的可行性,并指出了在具体实施中应该注意的问题。

Diverse socio-technical aspects of a digital archive of Aboriginal languages

ABSTRACT

A socio-technical approach is taken to explore a digital archive of Australian Indigenous cultural heritage. The Living Archive of Aboriginal Languages is considered in terms of what it is currently doing and what it was intended to do. Two ethnographic stories focusing on user interactions and the outcomes of an online survey serve to evaluate the effectiveness of the Archive from the perspective of different users. This is then juxtaposed with a consideration of the original grant application, outlining what was envisaged for the project. This analysis serves to highlight some of the contingent relations and diverse socio-technical aspects of a specific knowledge infrastructure, as it allows multiple forms of interaction, new connections and generative activities as people discover, access and interact with the content now and into the future.     

Press Credentials and Hybrid Boundary Zones: The Case of WorldNetDaily and the Standing Committee of Correspondents

ABSTRACT

Press credentialing practices are a vital, yet understudied site of scholarly research on journalistic norms and practices. Press credentialing not only structures internal professional hierarchies, but they also signify the boundaries of the journalistic field itself. This paper explores the legal and theoretical implications of press credentialing to cover the United States Congress, drawing on the concepts of boundary work and journalistic authority to demonstrate the material impact of the space between fields on professional legitimation in journalism. Using WorldNetDaily (WND) as a case study, I argue that the Standing Committee of Correspondents (SCC) occupies a hybrid boundary zone between the journalistic and political fields, generating a unique tension in First Amendment jurisprudence that places journalists in a paradoxical role as both the professional embodiments of free speech and its constitutional steward. The resulting jurisdictional conflict between the SCC and WND extends the relational model of journalistic authority by articulating how journalist-state relations can fundamentally augment the process of legitimation at its fuzzy boundaries. The relevance and implications for press credentialing practices in the digital age are discussed.

分析机构成员产出的艺术作品、标本、各种设计实物模型等博物类智力产品,在管理和共享传播方面存在的问题。探索一种有效的博物类数字化资源组织与展示方式,建设一个可动态布展的机构博物类数字化资源建设系统,对这些资源的数字化对象进行收集、传播与共享,以提升它们在学术成果交流中的作用。已完成原型系统的建设,实现作品提交、动态布展与发布、交互展示等功能,系统试运行中,包含50多个作品的场景在普通PC或移动设备上均可实现流畅的交互。

数字图书馆使信息得以更广泛的传播，数字图书馆及其功能、作用与当前信息发展传播、计算机网络化所带来的有关馆藏、馆员诸多方面的新变化，今后数字图书馆可能的发展动向．     

Strategies for Expanding E-Journal Preservation

The responsibility for and the initiative to preserve electronic journal content is neither clear nor easy, and knowing the preservation status of an e-journal is not a basic step within the NASIG Core Competencies for Electronic Resources Librarians life cycle of electronic resources management. Columbia and Cornell University Libraries secured funding for a project to specifically evaluate strategies for expanding e-journal preservation. A wide range of e-journal categories are evaluated within the scope of the project, including: content direct from publishers, small and society publishers, Open Access e-journals, full-text content from third-party content providers, and university generated e-journals. Discussed are techniques for identifying at risk e-journals, integrating preservation into license negotiation with publishers, tracking the preservation status of e-journals, and developing relationships with existing preservation agencies. The quality of future of scholarship and teaching hinges on the preservation of the scholarly record.
