Education and the Concept of Time

Abstract

As we speak about time in the context of everyday life, we have no problem with what we mean by time. We take time as given. Different kinds of theories of development rely on the ordinary concept of time. Time is a sequence of instants, and we are moving along from the past to the future, from birth to death. Moving in time also means development. It does not take into account how a human being is in the time. It flattens our view of human life and cannot describe our manifold being. According to theories of development, if a child does not behave in a certain instant as the theories expect, there must be a problem with that child or she has not developed as well as others.

Heidegger uses terms like time-space, temporality and ecstases of time. The question of time is of the same kind as the question of Being. We are in the world and in time in the same way. We all have experience of time, how it sometimes goes quickly and sometimes very slowly. Time is not experienced as moments one after another. It is time-space. Time-space means that time has three dimensions and it consists of the ecstatical opening up of the future, the past and the present. In this article, I will open up the question how the traditional understanding of time and the ecstatic understanding of time understand children differently. What does it mean that little children live exclusively in the present?

政府信息公开制度于法治政府、阳光政府建设有重要意义,但其当前面临的诸多问题却令人堪忧。应该分析现状,对其存在的问题进行深入剖析,进而寻求解决之方法。建议从转变政府及公民观念、上升法规位阶、明确公开范围、完善监督惩戒机制等几方面来探求政府信息公开制度的未来发展方向。     

From ‘philosophy of sport’ to ‘philosophies of sports’? History,identity and diversification of sport philosophy

My goal in this article is to give a portrait of how modern sport philosophy, which started in 1972, developed from relatively narrow paradigmatic borders to become a diverse and multi-paradigmatic international discipline. This development has included several changes but also some continuity. I identify three main tenets that may be viable in the future. One is to focus on the traditional sport philosophical paradigm, which had an ambition to identify the essence of sport. A second option is to develop more specific approaches, focusing on single sports or types of sport, like football or climbing. A third alternative is to develop a philosophy, not only of sport but of ‘homo movens’, studying the moving human being in different environmental and socio-cultural contexts. All three options are viable and should be welcomed.

防疫下的全球高等教育治理： 影响、经验及中国策略

新冠疫情对全球高等教育学生、教师、院校以及系统产生了中长期影响。为有效减少疫情损失和 维持高等教育可持续性，世界各国纷纷制定适应本国的应急举措：一是职能驱动下的院校自治，包括保障人 才培养、引领科学研究和兼顾社会服务；二是政策驱动下的政府规制，包括动态的行政命令、可靠的财政供 给和连续的教学支持。但现有治理经验未能就全球高等教育的可持续发展给予适配的指导。因此，亟须从 人类命运共同体的视角反思现有治理经验，结合中国在疫情期间的具体实践，为防疫下的全球高等教育治 理提供一个来自中国的理念与路径，即构建教育人类命运共同体，通过提出保护受教育权、建立伙伴关系和 激发情感共鸣等理念，从宏观、中观和微观层面为构建防疫下的全球高等教育治理提供“中国策略”。     

关于击剑运动在南京地区高校开展前景的分析

结合高校体育课的改革,采用搜集文献资料、访谈、问卷等方法,对击剑运动在南京地区高校的开展前景作出分析和预测,指出了击剑运动在高校开展所必须的主客观条件,并对高校击剑运动的运作与发展提出了可行性建议。

“英特尔·未来教育”教学模式是目前国内信息技术与学科教学整合最为成功的范例之一。它通过问题设计这种思维模式,把信息技术运用到信息化教学设计中,与国家新课程标准完全吻合,符合新基础教育理念。这种跨越式思维,要求教师不要像以前所描述的那样“燃尽自己,照亮别人”,而应是“挂在互联网上的电灯,不断充电,永放光芒”。
