透视我国儿童、青少年的诚信价值取向

"诚信价值取向"是"诚信观念"的构成要素之一,它是人们在自身或社会需要的基础上对诚信道德的重要性作出判断时所持的内在尺度,是一种外显的或内隐的关于诚信重要与否的看法.本研究通过对全国四省区小学二年级、小学四年级、小学六年级、初中二年级、高中二年级学生的调查发现,当前我国儿童、青少年诚信价值取向的发展呈现如下特征:其一,他们普遍关注"守信"和"诚实"的重要性;其二,小学六年级到高中二年级4年间,我国中小学生对诚信价值的重视程度陡然下降;其三,在"诚实"与"守信"重要性选择上,小学二年级学生相对重视"诚实",高中二年级学生相对重视"守信";其四,我国儿童、青少年诚信的自律水平正在随着年龄的增长而加强.     

从“零负团费”到“品质游”——旅行社诚信经营探析

“零团费负团费”现象自20世纪90年代末以来,一直影响着我国旅游业。它以表象上的低价吸引旅游者,然后通过某种消费来弥补团费获取利润,这种营销方式最终使得旅游者对旅行社失去信任,使旅行社面临诚信危机。近年来“品质游”的提出一定程度上改善了这种状况,但“品质游”从根本上还是应该做到诚信经营,通过明白报价、优质服务吸引消费者,建立良好的市场信誉。

Contract cheating in UK higher education: A covert investigation of essay mills

Contract cheating is currently a concern for universities and the higher education (HE) sector. It has been brought into the spotlight in recent years through the growth of online essay mills, where students can easily commission and purchase written assessment responses. This study contributes to the wider literature on academic integrity in HE by examining the phenomenon of contract cheating from a supply‐side perspective, thereby considering the essay mill offering and student interaction with it. The authors covertly engage with five essay mills, before successfully completing an assignment purchase with two of these providers. The pre‐purchase stage of an assignment transaction is first examined, unpacking ten reassurance cues used by essay mill providers in the text of their websites. These reassurance cues help to ensure the attractiveness of the essay mill product to potential student consumers. The analysis then moves to explore the ethical discourses around academic integrity that essay mills provide, revealing inconsistencies in their stance towards the potential for academic misconduct from the use of essay mill services. Finally, the article explores the quality of the essay mill product, through grading and Turnitin^® reports for the two purchased essay mill assignments. Following recent calls for the outlawing of essay mills, this article provides a timely addition to current understanding of this phenomenon, and the associated challenges of contract cheating in HE.

地方高校“通识教育”与课程整合

高等教育诸多改革中,教学改革是核心,而教学改革中,教学内容和课程体系改革是重点和难点,教学内容和课程体系改革的难点又是通识教育类课程.通过增加通识教育课程比例、硬性规定必开什么课程只能解决表面问题,解决不了根本问题.要实质上的实现通识教育目标,必须确立通识教育的理念,并将通识教育与专业教育的课程有意识地整合起来.在开展通识教育时,必须认识到:不是开设的课程越多越好、越"文"越古越好;通识教育与专业教育不能分离,通识教育与专业教育并非对立的关系.

国外对博客诚信问题的研究

认为目前国外对博客诚信问题的研究主要集中在博客内容的可信度、诚信的作用、诚信的影响因素和诚信道德下的博客行为4个方面,指出其存在的主要问题是样本性质单一和研究角度片面.     

A Review of: “The Information Revolution and Developing Countries”

There is an increasing rhetoric from politicians for universities to become more involved in policy analysis and policy research. In this article, we reflect on our experiences of the analysis we conducted into the legislation to introduce biometric identity cards in the United Kingdom. We highlight how our work had direct consequences for the ongoing policy deliberation around this controversial piece of legislation. In particular, we highlight our role in the debate surrounding the government's figures for identity fraud and the concerns about the likely cost of the scheme to the government and taxpayer. We end the article by discussing some of the practical realities of such a foray into real politik.
