健康湿地生态系统的净化功能研究

随着人口增长、工业化发展以及农药、化肥的大量使用,过量的营养盐、重金属、有机污染物等引发面源污染,是当今全球面临的重大环境问题之一。健康的湿地生态系统具有对过剩营养盐和污染物吸收、转化和截留的“净化器”功能,为解决面源污染问题提供了有效的途径。本文探讨了湿地对N、P、S、C等营养盐以及重金属、有机污染物的净化功能。     

First experiments for the use of microblasting technique with powdered cellulose as a new tool for dry cleaning artworks on paper

This research evaluates the use of microblasting technique with powdered cellulose as a new tool for dry cleaning documents. Different cleaning tests were conducted on three documents with different properties following this new approach and the results were compared to those obtained with traditional dry cleaning with erasers. In order to assess changes caused to the supports, the treated documents were examined both before and after cleaning with optical and 3D stereomicroscopy, SEM-EDS and spectrophotometry. The results allow the conclusion that microblasting with powdered cellulose is a feasible technique to remove surface dirt or grime on paper documents. This research proves that the new use of the technique does not entail changes to the surface properties of the treated supports. Moreover, powdered cellulose is chemically stable and compatible with paper documents, preventing negative long-term effects derived from the presence of rubber residues that may remain in paper fibres when using erasers in dry cleaning treatments.     

Middle-ultraviolet laser cleaning of particulates from sized ground wood cellulose and pure cellulose paper

Ground wood cellulose paper exhibits a practicable cleaning laser fluence window during middle-UV radiation processing. In this case, a minimum dose volume density should be applied. However, cleaning of bleached cellulose paper is accompanied by strong yellowing and destruction. The presence of charcoal graphite particulates shows substantial influence on the yellowing with increasing coverage.     

Information management and improvement of citation indices

Bibliometrics and citation analysis have become important sets of methods for library and information science, as well as exceptional sources of information and knowledge for many other areas. Their main sources are citation indices, which are bibliographic databases like Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, etc. However, bibliographical databases lack perfection and standardization. There are several software tools that perform useful information management and bibliometric analysis importing data from them. A comparison has been carried out to identify which of them perform certain pre-processing tasks. Usually, they are not strong enough to detect all the duplications, mistakes, misspellings and variant names, leaving to the user the tedious and time-consuming task of correcting the data. Furthermore, some of them do not import datasets from different citation indices, but mainly from Web of Science (WoS).A new software tool, called STICCI.eu (Software Tool for Improving and Converting Citation Indices – enhancing uniformity), which is freely available online, has been created to solve these problems. STICCI.eu is able to do conversions between bibliographical citation formats (WoS, Scopus, CSV, BibTex, RIS), correct the usual mistakes appearing in those databases, detect duplications, misspellings, etc., identify and transform the full or abbreviated titles of the journals, homogenize toponymical names of countries and relevant cities or regions and list the processed data in terms of the most cited authors, journals, references, etc.
