使用Visual Studio.NET开发平台,C#程序设计语言,采用XML网页元数据描述框架,对网络专题知识库系统进行设计开发。对该系统的HTML网页元数据采集与XML文件生成、知识点挖掘、网络专题知识XML文件与关系型数据库快速转换等关键技术进行研究与实现。     

An Analysis of Children's Web Pages in Public Library Web Sites in Japan

A progenitor article for this work can be found in Public Library Quarterly 27, no. 4. This study is the first to report on the types of contents in children's web pages and the characteristics of Web-OPACs for children in public library websites in Japan. This study reveals that children's web pages, in general, place more emphasis on providing guidance on library services and on the use of information resources for reference services, rather than on helping children with regular learning or providing research assistance to adults on children's services. Other findings are reported as well.     

A Use of Space: The Unintended Messages of Academic Library Web Sites

Academic library home pages are not only access points to the resources and services of a library, they are virtual representations of the library itself. The content placed on the page, where it is placed, and the amount of space allotted are all choices that send a message about the character of the library, the resources a user should start with, and the library's attitude toward its users. This study explores the messages being sent by the content selection and design of the home pages of 49 of the 50 largest academic libraries in the United States. By looking at the area allocated to different content types and the number and location of different content types, the researchers discovered that design elements and promotion/public relations receive a large amount of page space. The researchers also identified the prominently positioned multi-search box as the apparent de facto standard access point to library resources. Many sites are clearly designed to direct users to specific, presumably important resources. Other sites are more obscure in their site structure and design, increasing the options and visual clutter for users without providing much guidance.     

单一网站网页数量增长规律的实证研究

本文借鉴文献计量学、科学计量学、信息计量学的理论和相关经验,以“单一网站”为结构尺度,以“周”为时间尺度构造样本,运用实证分析方法,得到具有统计意义的结果：仅存在正式交流过程的单一网站,其成熟期内的网页累积数服从二次曲线增长规律,最后指出本文的局限性和未来研究方向。     

Zero,single, or multi? Genre of web pages through the users’ perspective

The goal of the study presented in this article is to investigate to what extent the classification of a web page by a single genre matches the users’ perspective. The extent of agreement on a single genre label for a web page can help understand whether there is a need for a different classification scheme that overrides the single-genre labelling. My hypothesis is that a single genre label does not account for the users’ perspective. In order to test this hypothesis, I submitted a restricted number of web pages (25 web pages) to a large number of web users (135 subjects) asking them to assign only a single genre label to each of the web pages. Users could choose from a list of 21 genre labels, or select one of the two ‘escape’ options, i.e. ‘Add a label’ and ‘I don’t know’. The rationale was to observe the level of agreement on a single genre label per web page, and draw some conclusions about the appropriateness of limiting the assignment to only a single label when doing genre classification of web pages. Results show that users largely disagree on the label to be assigned to a web page.

通过对专业信息自动分类的文本特征提取方法的分析研究,提出在文本分析时根据Web内容挖掘和结构挖掘的方法提取特征词条来建立文本特征空间,同时利用专业类别向量、专业词典技术可有效解决高维空间问题.     

国内网页去重技术研究：现状与总结

针对国内2000-2010年之间有关网页去重技术的研究成果进行计量分析,重点从网页结构、网页特征、网页内容、同源网页、元搜索等方面总结和分析去重技术的基本研究现状,并兼论基于布尔逻辑模型与傅立叶系数的网页去重以及网页去重技术在一些特殊领域的应用研究。
