Users’ continuance intention plays a significant role in the process of information system (IS) service, especially virtual learning community (VLC) services. Following the IS success model and IS post-acceptance model, this study explores the determinants of users’ intention to continue using VLCs’ service from the perspective of quality, including perceived information quality (completeness, relevance and timeless) together with perceived interaction quality (responsiveness and connectedness) and focuses on the moderating effect of usage experience. The research hypotheses are empirically validated by using the responses received from a survey of 313 college students and the research model is assessed by structural equation model. The results show that perceived information quality and perceived interaction quality can directly affect perceived usefulness (PU), perceived satisfaction and ultimately determine users’ continuance intention. In addition, the findings verify that usage experience plays an important moderating role. The impact of PU on continuance intention is greater for low-experience users. In contrast, the impact of information satisfaction and interaction satisfaction on continuance intention is greater for high-experience users. 相似文献

随着对语块教学研究的进一步深入,它的理论优势已经得到了充分的论证,但其具体的使用模式及教学效果还需要在实践中进一步加以检验并完善。研究表明,学生的口语水平和语块使用频率之间存在着紧密的联系,其交际内容的难易程度也会随着双方对语块的熟练使用程度而有所不同。同时,虽然交际者的会话中基本上包含了不同功能的语块,但其侧重程度和分布情况不均衡。因此,教师在英语口语教学中应逐步培养学生的语块使用意识、功能意识,并把握好语块使用中灵活性和容忍度的统一,以提高语块教学效果。 相似文献

This study aims to investigate the resources and methods used in information instruction provided at private university libraries in Jordan. It also investigates trends among Zarqa Private University students towards the achievement of its objectives. Data was collected via two questionnaires. The population of the study consisted of 19 administrators of private university libraries; 14 of them (73.7%) responded positively to the study, and of 600 first year students who were in the first semester of the academic year 2007/2008, 512 of them (85.3%) responded positively. Study findings have revealed that information literacy instruction programmes are not comprehensive in all target libraries. No more than five (35.7%) of the responding libraries offer the required lectures that inform students about the importance of libraries and libraries’ departments, the practical training of online access to databases through internet, or training on the usage of periodical indexes. The curricula offered by more than 78.6% of the respondents lacked courses or exercises that support library usage. Findings of “information literacy instruction programmes offered to students of Zarqa Private University, reveal that the programmes concentrate on theoretical aspects more than practical aspects. There is empirical evidence that people phub more frequently those who are closely related to them than those less close to them and that phubbing is not only transforming the norms of human communication but also this behavior has detrimental impacts on people. This review of the literature was undertaken to understand the impacts of phubbing on people, how people perceive phubbing, what are the reasons behind people's phubbing and what predicts this behavior. The review of the literature has revealed that phubbing heightened feelings of jealousy between romantic partners, weakened the bond between them, lowered their relationship satisfaction and increased their rates of depression. Phubbing was perceived as rude, offensive, and a violation of social norms. It undermined perceptions of empathetic concern, closeness, interpersonal trust, and conversation quality. The review of literature has also revealed that technological addictions, such as, smartphone addiction, SMS addiction and social media addiction, boredom, fear of missing out, and lack of self‐control all predicted phubbing behavior but that reciprocity, the tendency to engage in more than one task at the same time (multitasking) and fulfillment of an immediate need or gratification may explain why people engage with their smartphone during face‐to‐face conversation with others. 相似文献
