英美报刊新闻标题的语法特点

英美报刊新闻标题有它自己独特的一套语法规则。现将其与通常的说法作一比较。一、经常省略冠词、动词“to be”及其它一些常用词。例如:1.标题:Royal dog ill 比较:One of the Queen's dogs is ill.(女王的一条狗病了。)2.标题:Moon American,says U.S.senator比较:A United States senator says that the moon is American.(一位美国参议员说,月亮属美国所有。)
