在小说翻译的过程中,深层意义的分析有重要意义,它有助于译文读者理解原作的社会文化背景、人物刻画、情节发展和主题等。译者应该通过对原作语言结构的深层意义的解读和阐释,使译作达到与原作的功能性等值。以狄更斯的小说《远大前程》为例,从文化意义、社会意义和文体意义3个方面对语言的深层意义进行分析,探讨如何选择最合适的翻译策略来保留原作的深层意义。     

用于co-training的特征选择技术

Co-training is a semi-supervised learning method, which employs two complementary learners to label the unlabeled data for each other and to predict the test sample together. Previous studies show that redundant information can help improve the ratio of prediction accuracy between semi-supervised learning methods and supervised learning methods. However, redundant information often practically hurts the performance of learning machines. This paper investigates what redundant features have effect on the semi-supervised learning methods, e.g. co-training, and how to remove the redundant features as well as the irrelevant features. Here, FESCOT （feature selection for co-training） is proposed to improve the generalization performance of co-training with feature selection. Experimental results on artificial and real world data sets show that FESCOT helps to remove irrelevant and redundant features that hurt the performance of the co-training method.

本文以鲁迅、茅盾、赵树理的农村题材小说的代表性语段为例,从人物刻画和环境描写两个方面对其语音特征进行了多方面的考察与分析,发现文学语言的语音特色是作家语言个性在语音底层的主要表现,而语言个性是形成作家文学风格的重要因素,文学语言的语音特色为文学风格的形成奠定了声律美学基础。     

Prediction of malignancy selective neural networks degree in brain glioma using ensemble

A clustering algorithm based selective neural networks ensemble （CLUSEN） is proposed to predict the degree of malignancy in brain glioma. Since the degree prediction of malignancy is critical before brain surgery, many learning methods are used like rule induction algorithm, single neural networks, support vector machines, etc. Ensemble learning methods can improve the generalization of single learning machine, and are becoming popular in the machine learning and medical data processing communities. The procedure of CLUSEN can efficiently remove redundancy learning individuals and help improve the diversity of ensemble methods. CLUSEN is used to predict the degree of malignancy in brain glioma. Experimental results on a set of brain glioma data show that, compared to support vector machines, rule induction and single neural networks, the classification accuracy of CLUSEN is higher.
