Analysis on Courteous Expressions Used in Business E-mails

Modern technology affords us greater efficiency and effectiveness in the workplace than ever before. However, it also creates a huge opportunity for miscommunication and misinterpretation of intended messages. Based on some important theories about courtesy like 6C principles in business writing and CP, PP,etc, this paper analyzes the courteous expressions in business emails through examples and comes up with many strategies and tacts.     

浅谈期刊医学论文汉译英技巧

我国很多医学科研人员在总结和展示科研成果时会先后撰写中文版和英文版论文,以同时满足国内和国际学术交流的目的。自2013年以来,SCI期刊收录我国科研人员作为第一作者的论文数量不断攀升。然而,数量增长的背后依然存在大量投稿被SCI期刊拒绝的案例。笔者分析众多由SCI期刊编辑传回的拒稿和反馈邮件,发现我国科研人员的英文学术写作水平还有待进一步提高。本文拟从英语学术写作、语用力以及汉英思维差异三个方面来探讨SCI期刊医学论文汉译英的技巧,以期为医学科研人员提供可操作性的建议。
