The Study of Pragmatic Features of Phatic Communion

Phatic communion is widely used in daily life.Closely related to pragmatics,it is also one of the objects of linguistics study.Since its introduction by Malinowski in the 1920s,phatic communion has soon been accepted and further studied.This pa per,with the objective of bettering the comprehension about phatic communion,introduces the meaning and application of phat ic communion and probes into its features related to pragmatics.     

英汉思维差异对中国学生英语写作的影响

思维与语言密切相关,思维是语言的灵魂,语言是思维的载体。英汉思维方式存在明显的差异,这些差异给中国英语学习者的英语写作带来了不利的影响。本文在前人研究的基础上,具体分析英汉思维方式的差异,即直线型思维与螺旋型思维、分析性思维与综合性思维,对中国学生英语写作的影响,并且针对每一差异,本文都分别从词汇、句子、语篇三个层面深入探讨其对英语写作的影响,从而使中国学生更清晰地认识英汉思维的差异所在,进而尽可能地减少汉语思维对英语写作的消极干扰。
