环境工程技术专业课程思政的载体和方法创新研究

在环境工程技术专业课程思政的教学载体和教学方法创新过程中,贯穿全员、全过程、全课程的课程思政教育理念,有利于实现专业课程和思政教育的深度融合。在全员、全过程、全课程的课程思政教育理念下,针对环境工程技术专业课程思政教学中教材缺失思政元素问题、专业课程与思政课程缺乏融合渠道问题、课程思政效果评价机制缺失问题,高校应革新思政教学理念,挖掘课程思政元素,展开多样化、特色化的教学方式,以此实现环境工程技术专业课程思政教学的载体创新和方式创新。     

The WISC-R and Woodcock-Johnson tests of cognitive ability: A comparative study

The Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery has become a popular instrument for assessing students with learning problems. Previous research has indicated a possible discrepancy between overall scores on the WISC-R and the congnitive portion of the Woodcock-Johnson with samples of learning disabled (LD) students. The current study, conducted with samples of students not designated as LD, also found significant differences in the mean scores between the two measures. The hypothesis that the difference between measures is a function of grade level was not supported. Other findings of the current study, coupled with previous research, suggest that the congnitive portion of the Woodcock-Johnson may be loaded with verbal factors.

Coronavirus disease(COVID-19):The need to maintain regular physical activity while taking precautions

The on-going Coronavirus disease(COVID-19)outbreak in China has become the world's leading health headline and is causing major panic and public concerns.On January 30,2020,the World Health Organization(WHO)declared that the new coronavirus outbreak is a public health emergency of international concern.1 The virus has already had a direct impact on more than 10 million people in the city of Wuhan and has reached other parts of China as well,posing a health threat of unknown magnitude globally.As of February 8,2020,WHO reported 34,886 confirmed cases of COVID-19 globally,with 34,589 of them occurring in China(including 6101 severe cases and 723 deaths).A total of 288 other confirmed cases(with 1 death)have been reported in 24 countries,including Japan,Australia,Germany,and United States.2 However,these daily estimates are expected to rise even higher as reports from health authorities in China3 are gathered and near real-time updates of the Johns Hopkins virus dashboard are made 4 The outbreak has caused governments in various countries to take swift and protective measures.In China,these included putting cities on lockdown,5 implementing travel wamings/bans and cancellations,6 extending national holidays,and closing schools and postponing classes7.

There is now a sufficient literature base to support some syntheses that enable researchers to judge their progress in this area to date and to provide direction for future research and practice. For this study, we conducted a literature review of studies that measured or examined global self-determination.

The Sport Commitment Model: An Investigation of Structural Relationships with Thai Youth Athlete Populations

Grounded in the conceptual framework of the Sport Commitment Model and previous empirical studies conducted in Western countries, this study was designed to (a) test and validate a Thai version of the Athlete Opinion Survey to assess components of the Sport Commitment Model in Thai youth athletes and (b) examine structural relationships among various constructs of the Sport Commitment Model as assessed by the Thai version of the Athlete Opinion Survey. Survey data were collected from 1,704 Thai youth athletes and analyzed via structural equation modeling methodologies to establish evidence for validity and measurement reliability. Results from various analyses indicated adequate support for the hypothesized factorial structure and acceptable reliability estimates of the Thai version of the Athlete Opinion Survey subscales. Moreover, modeling analyses showed empirical support for the hypothesized structural relationships underlying the Sport Commitment Model in the Thai youth athlete population. The findings from this study have implications for a better understanding of sport commitment in different cultural settings.     

初中教师绩效工资实施及满意度的调查——以天津市为例

从2009年1月1日起,我国在义务教育学校实施绩效工资。通过问卷法、访谈法调查天津初中教师绩效工资实施及满意度现状,得出结论：天津市初中教师绩效工资实施现状基本良好,教师对绩效工资政策和学校绩效工资分配方案满意度较高,绩效工资也发挥了一定的激励作用。但教师也对绩效工资政策落实中存在的问题表示不满,认为“教师工资水平不低于当地公务员平均工资水平”未能落实的教师比例较高。另外天津教师绩效工资中的“同城不同薪”现象和教师的个体差异均影响了教师对绩效工资的满意度。     

An Empirical Evaluation of the Accomplishment Quotient

Seventy-two subjects, classified as to school, grade, sex, and level of arithmetic achievement were given a 30 item test to measure their knowledge of three probability concepts before any formal school instruction. A repeated-measurements analysis of variance was used; significant F-ratios were observed for main effects of grade, level of achievement, and concept. Significant interaction between level of achievement and co nc ept was also observed. Estimated fixed effect of level of achievement was 7. 2 times as large as estimated fixed effect of grade, leading to the conclusion that mental age is much more important in mental concept development than chronological age. Results also indicated that subjects possessed considerable knowledge of the concepts involved before receiving formal instruction.     

Influence of Information Technologies on Kinesiology and Physical Education

The rapid advances made in information technologies over the past few years and the belief that technological change is neither additive nor subtractive to our state of affairs but that it generates total change, suggests that it is timely to consider the implications of these technologies for teaching, research, and professional activity. The task of trying to understand the future influence of information technologies is a challenging one because technology is shaped by an array of forces that includes tradition, politics, economic interests, history, philosophy, and competing technologies. The paper addresses the influence of technology under the following general topics: (a) Promise or peril? Two views on information technology; (b) The difficulty of accurately predicting the future role of information technology; (c) An overview of technological advances and some predictions; and (d) Aspects of special interest—virtual reality, Information Highway, thinking “better” with computers, and devaluation of the body.
