This article outlines the rationale for an integrative perspective of self- and social regulation in learning contexts. The role of regulatory mechanisms in self- and social regulation models is examined, leading to the view that in real time collaborative learning, individuals and social entities should be conceptualized as self-regulating and coregulated systems at the same time. Living systems theory provides support for the claim that although all forms of regulation have an adaptive function, the distinct, regulatory processes occurring at different systemic levels (e.g. individual, social) are concurrent and interdependent. Challenges for future research from an integrative perspective are discussed. 相似文献

The requirements for engineering education are changing. Sound technical knowledge is still the basis of the engineering profession but multi-sectoral skills are becoming increasingly important. In the Baltic countries, increased environmental and socio-economic problems have made it clear that narrow curricula are not sufficient. Tampere University of Technology (Finland) and Tallinn Technical University (Estonia) have jointly organized postgraduate courses in water and environmental management. Much emphasis has been placed on economy, policy, management and environmental issues. When the participants come from several countries and their background education is not only engineering, very interesting and useful interdisciplinary discussions have been experienced. 相似文献

In this paper, we describe the technology training principles of the Nokia Group. The fundamental approach to training is that all are responsible for their own skills and competitiveness. At each level the training is organised in co-operation with the oficial educational institutes. The participants may also register as normal students at universities, with the in-house courses becoming part of the curriculum for their formal examination. Part of the rraining is achieved by using Euro-PACE courses. 相似文献
