美国学校的暑假

美国很多学校都因为暑假而停课了。大多数美国学生都有近三个月的暑假。这种传统学校时间表是在大多数美国人还生活在农场时制定的。当时孩子们需要在家里帮助收割庄稼和照看牲口。学校后来延续了这种传统,主要是因为炎热的夏天上课实在是太艰难了。
