貌合神离:一笔双叙与轭式搭配

在英语修辞中,轭式搭配与一笔双叙这两个辞格由于表面形式的高度相似而造成了使用上的混乱,国内外修辞学界对这两个辞格并非都清楚地做了区分。从学术的严谨性出发,把它们进行对比区分,使得两者泾渭分明,让使用这些辞格的人不会无所适从是很有必要的。两者都反映了修辞能更有效地表达感情和思想的宗旨,新奇传神,是语言大师们突破常规模式,力求新颖,"语不惊人死不休"执著追求的生动写照。     

Syllepsis and Zeugma in English Major Teaching

In English Rhetoric,Zeugma and Syllepsis are very similar but considerably different figures of speech.In the process of teaching Rhetoric for English majors,teachers should begin from the source of the words,"Zeugma" and "Syllepsis",and the concepts of these two figures of speech,assisted with massive analyses of the simple samples,and conclude the main difference between them so that students can accurately master features and differences of Synecdoche and Metonymy through comparison and conclusion,and exactly use them in prac tice.

修辞格Zeugma和Syllepsis的研究尽管已进入认知阶段,但目前国内很多研究对两者的认识还并不是很全面。不同于国内的很多研究,这两个修辞格的概念、分类、修辞功能以及两者之间的异同还可以从狭义的角度来探讨,并在此基础上厘清了与汉语拈连辞格的异同。
