英译汉中容易误解的句型和结构

正确的翻译建立在对原文的正确理解的基础上。但英语中的一些特殊的句型和结构常常暗含陷阱,影响了学生的理解,从而造成了翻译上的失误。本文对最常见的一些容易引起误解的句型结构从五方面进行了归纳,有利于学生对它们的把握,促进学生的翻译。     

二级学院非英语专业学生课外学习现状的调查

本文以问卷和访谈的形式对600名二级学院的学生的课外学习情况从课外学习的时间、目的、内容、影响因素、策略以及存在的困难等六个方面进行调查并对结果进行分析,在此基础上提出了相应的对策。     

表象训练在“二十四式”教学中的应用研究

针对武术项目教学三多的问题,以人体生理学运动技能形成的过程为切入点,在传统的二十四式教学方法的基础上采用对比实验法、数理统计法、文献资料等研究方法,对表象训练法的教学效果进行研究。实验证明这种教学方法能激发学生的学习主观想象力,达到更好的教学效果。     

自适应运动矢量精度在插值算法中的应用

根据对H.26L视频图像编码算法的研究,提出了一些新的有效的编码方法.在运动估值和运动补偿方面,采用立方卷积插值算法替代双线性插值以获得更高的估值精度,并提出混合插值与自适应运动矢量精度(AMVA)相结合的算法,着重就平均峰值信噪比、压缩效率和主观图像质量做了分析和比较.从实验结果看,算法获得了满意的效果,实现的H.26L软件编解码器在压缩比方面较H.263软件编解码器有明显提高,具有较大的实用价值.相信所做的工作对甚低码率视频图像编码的实际应用和推广将起到一定作用.     

Too Much,Too Young? An Analysis of the Key Stage 3 National Literacy Strategy in Practice

This article was first drafted after I worked for 14 weeks last year in a school that was piloting the National Literacy Strategy at Key Stage 3. I now work in another school delivering the full published Strategy to Year 7. In this article, I explore the contradictions inherent in the Strategy in attempting to develop the English and literacy skills of Key Stage 3 pupils. Ultimately, my argument is that the educational benefits of this teaching to objectives is at odds with some of the deeper aims of the Strategy and of English teaching, and that the constant assessment involved puts too much pressure on our youngsters at an age when they should be concentrating on social development as people.     

Turning scientific and technological human capital into economic capital: the experience of biotech start-ups in France

This paper examines how scientific and technological (S&T) human capital is transformed into financial capital through the creation of firms by scientists. The analysis is based on a database describing the positions held by 132 founders from 62 French biotech SMEs. It shows that star scientists engage in highly risky but also valuable firms. Less famous scientists must develop their human capital rather than valorising a stock. The paper concludes by pointing to three paradoxes concerning the commitment and compensation scheme of star scientists and the managerial position of less known scientists.

Toward a taxonomy of entrepreneurship education research literature: A bibliometric mapping and visualization

The retrospective amount of research literature dedicated to entrepreneurship education (EE) is overwhelming, which makes producing an overview difficult. However, advanced bibliometric mapping and clustering techniques can help visualize and structure complex research literature. Thus, the objective of this mapping study is to systematically explore and cluster the EE research literature to deliver a taxonomic scheme that can serve as a basis for future research. The analyzed data, which were drawn from the Web of Science and Scopus, consist of 1773 peer-reviewed documents published between 1975 and 2014. On the one hand, this taxonomy should create stronger ties to educational research; on the other, it can foster international research collaboration to boost both interdisciplinary EE and its impact on a global basis. This work reinforces our understanding of current EE research by identifying and distilling the most powerful intellectual relationships among its contributions and contributors. Consequently, this study addresses not only the academic community but also entrepreneurship educators and policymakers in an effort to boost entrepreneurial spirit, design effective policy instruments, and, ultimately, improve societal welfare.
