Improved Synthesis of Nefazodone from Phenol

A route for the synthesis of nefazodone is reported. Nefazodone was obtained with an overall yield of 37. 2% from phenol. The key steps involve the improved synthesis of 5-ethyl-4-(2-phenoxyethyl)-1, 2, 4-triazol-3(2H)-one, a key intermediate in the synthesis of nefazodone. The phenol was etherified with 1, 2-dichloroethane (75%), followed by iodination-amination with Nal and CH_3OH-NH_3(85.7%), acylation with ethyl chloroformate (95.7%) and cyclization with propionyl hy-drazine (83.6%).     

惊恐障碍50例临床观察

目的:探讨惊恐障碍的发病相关因素,临床特点及治疗.方法:对50例惊恐障碍病人使用汉密尔顿抑郁自评量表及自制调查问卷,对病人起病因素、临床特点及治疗情况进行分析.结果:惊恐障碍病人多初诊于心内科,症状表现以心血管、呼吸系统症状多见,经心理治疗及抗抑郁剂合并抗焦虑剂治疗,症状迅速缓解.结论:了解这些情况有利于惊恐障碍临床诊断和治疗     

Suicide:

The purpose of this article is to provide a framework for training the residence hall RA as a suicide interventionist. It is important that the RA have the necessary information and skills to recognize, evaluate and refer students who are at risk for taking their own lives. In addition, this article discusses what the RA must known in order to assist the survivors of unsuccessful suicide attempts or those who are left after a completed suicide. As an itnerventionist, the RA is not a counselor or therapist but someone who is able to assist the suicidal student in securing professional assistance and being of support during the process of therapy.
