Breaking Down Barriers for Student Parents and Caregivers with Family-Friendly Library Spaces

Abstract

In 2016, J. Murrey Atkins Library at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte opened a reservable study room where student parents and caregivers can study with their children on campus. In 2018, the library opened a second family-friendly study room to meet the needs of our growing campus community. To inform the room design, the library conducted a mixed methods research study that included a user survey, an examination of room reservation and usage data, and one-on-one user interviews. This paper focuses on the user-centered design process used to inform the development of the second, family-friendly, library study room.     

汇川H2U系列PLC之间RS-485通信的实现

主要研究了汇川公司H2U可编程控制器(PLC)的通信技术,实现了两个H2U系列PLC之间基于RS-485的通信,并详细介绍了PLC之间通信的硬件连接方式、通信串口参数配置、触摸屏画面的设计以及程序实现。所讨论的方法已在采用H2U PLC及辅助设备组建的"运动控制系统"课程的教学实验平台上进行了验证,可以拓展应用于多台H2U PLC之间以及其他设备与H2U PLC之间的RS-485通信实现,对工程应用具有一定的借鉴意义。     

Individual and cultural factors in teachers’ attitudes towards inclusion: A meta-analysis

The success of inclusive education is dependent upon classroom teachers implementing adaptations for children with disabilities. Given that willingness to make such adaptations is influenced by teacher attitudes, the current study examined teachers’ attitudes towards inclusive education through a meta-analysis of 64 samples that were found via a systematic literature search. The results indicated that teachers hold a positive attitude towards inclusion of children with disabilities in mainstream schools and that these attitudes are moderated by an interplay of cultural and demographical factors. The findings offer a renewed basis for intervention research into improving educational opportunities for children around the world.     

Digital Module 05: Diagnostic Measurement—The G‐DINA Framework https://ncme.elevate.commpartners.com

In this ITEMS module, we introduce the generalized deterministic inputs, noisy “and” gate (G‐DINA) model, which is a general framework for specifying, estimating, and evaluating a wide variety of cognitive diagnosis models. The module contains a nontechnical introduction to diagnostic measurement, an introductory overview of the G‐DINA model, as well as common special cases, and a review of model‐data fit evaluation practices within this framework. We use the flexible GDINA R package, which is available for free within the R environment and provides a user‐friendly graphical interface in addition to the code‐driven layer. The digital module also contains videos of worked examples, solutions to data activity questions, curated resources, a glossary, and quizzes with diagnostic feedback.     

协同搜索过程中用户交流内容与模式研究

[目的/意义]旨在分析协同搜索用户在信息搜索任务过程中的交流内容与模式,从而理解协同搜索用户的关注重点与搜索过程。[研究设计/方法]基于书籍交互检索平台(CLEF-Social Book Search)设计实验,共招募18名被试完成两种搜索任务,通过录音记录对话并对其进行编码和分析,总结交流内容特征和模式。结合任务类型、认知类型组合、服务器记录的搜索交互行为日志以及问卷收集的搜索体验进行了探索分析。[结论/发现]从交流内容上看,协同搜索用户主要理解与评判书目信息、商讨搜索任务计划;比起认知类型不同的用户,相同认知类型的用户在操作交互方面交流更多,在评判决策方面交流较少。交流模式依据讨论内容比重可分为理解评判型、评判主导型、均衡交流型三种,评判主导型用户的任务完成满意度最高。[创新/价值]协同搜索用户的交流反映出搜索过程中需要与同伴商讨协同的焦点,也是需要系统提供协助的重点,给协同搜索系统设计提供一定参考。本研究针对协同搜索的交流内容设计的编码系统对相关的协同交流研究也有借鉴意义。

本文阐述了体育 (与健康 )课程中实施心理健康教育的意义及该课程对心理健康的影响 ,并对体育 (与健康 )课程中实施心理健康教育的途径进行了探讨 ,为全面推进素质教育 ,提高学生心理健康水平提供参考。     

影响我国足球联赛上座率的因素与对策研究

上座率是联赛的根本。研究表明影响观众出席人数的主要因素包括:球迷动机因素、比赛吸引力、经济因素、竞争因素、人口统计学因素、体育场因素、体育对社会的价值、体育专注和体育迷地位。除此之外,国家队比赛成绩、比赛公正程度、赛制安排等也影响比赛的上座率。     

体育教育专业学生英语学习方式调查研究

报告了对沈阳体育学院体育教育专业学生外语学习方式倾向的调查研究,并以问卷为研究工具。运用定量研究方法,分析了个体差异如性别、外语水平等对学生学习方式倾向的影响。结果显示学生喜欢多种外语学习方式,外语成绩优、差学生6种学习方式均无显著差异,男生比女生更喜欢听觉学习,女生比男生更喜欢视觉学习。据此提出外语教师应根据学生的认知特点灵活运用各种教学方式,并指导学生调整和扩展多种学习风格以促进教与学的协调发展。     

第14届男子篮球世锦赛中外优秀后卫队员技术运用能力的比较分析

通过临场技术统计、电视录像观察和逻辑分析,以及查阅了相关文献资料,对第14届男子篮球世锦赛中国男篮与外国男篮(前四名)优秀后卫队员技术运用的能力进行比较分析,旨在对比和寻找目前中外优秀后卫队员在技术运用能力上存在的差异。
