对夫妻忠实义务的法律调整和道德调整之争,其本质是夫妻忠实义务的性质之争,该问题的解决取决于对夫妻忠实义务性质的定位.本文从法理学的理论角度出发,结合我国现行的立法状况,分析得出结论:夫妻忠实义务既是道德义务,义是法律义务.它的双重性质决定了调整它的手段既需要道德又需要法律,二者缺一不可.在调整夫妻忠实义务的过程中,二者既相互区别又具有互补性.     

How children of inter-ethnic couples navigate inter-cultural tensions: A scoping review of qualitative studies

Research into inter-ethnic families predominantly privileges the voices of inter-ethnic couples or parents. In this paper, I extend this discussion by considering the voices of children of inter-ethnic couples, who are also important constituents in the making of inter-ethnic families. This article offers a scoping review to explore, identify, and map the scholarly literature about children of inter-ethnic couples (1995–2022) documenting the experiences of children of inter-ethnic couples in navigating inter-cultural tensions in their everyday lives. From four main scholarly databases (PubMed, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and Scopus), I identified 670 articles which I further screened and assessed. My assessment resulted in 57 articles that focused on the voices of the children. Finally, I worked with 15 qualitative studies that are relevant in addressing my research question: What does the existing research literature report about the experiences of children of inter-ethnic couples in navigating inter-ethnic tensions? My analysis shows that participants navigate points of tensions using various tactics, including cognitive tactics, but also through everyday spatial, relational, and cultural practices. Additionally, I also found that in terms of the scope, most research in this area has been conducted within the context of the countries of the Global North, which provides insight into the need for more research and perspectives from the Global South. I also provide methodological reflections on the search processes and discuss the limitations of this study.

我国古代文学中有一类由外力干预造成的爱情悲剧,由于它的反复出现构成了"棒打鸳鸯"原型。它在现当代文学中也有不少变形,但出现了三种变化:"棒"的虚化、"棒"的异变(由礼教枷锁变为政治压力)和幻化结合的消失。这说明了现当代文学对反封建长期性和艰巨性的认识、对极左政治的反思和否定以及悲剧观念在中国的真正形成。     

Lazy leisure: A qualitative investigation of the relational uses of television in marriage

Communication researchers have examined television from the perspective of the individual's uses and gratifications, family viewing, and within specific contexts such as soap opera or Olympic coviewing. However, little is known about married couples and the role of television in their relationships. This study sought to use extensive personal interviews to examine why couples watch television together, how they perceive the role of television in their relationships, and any positive or negative effects of television use in their relationship. Results were compared to earlier research regarding family TV use, and quantitative research on couples’ uses of television. A new dimension, interpersonal control, was identified as an outcome of coviewing for married couples.

Crossing Cultures in Marriage: Implications for Counseling African American/African Couples

A wealth of literature exists regarding intermarriage between White and ethnic minority couples. Noticeably lacking, however, is information considering within-group diversity amongst Black couples. This paper will focus on cultural dynamics that may operate with African American and African couples residing in the United States. Through an examination of within-group differences and similarities, counselors can be better prepared to assist such couples in addressing and negotiating possible cross-cultural challenges. A case study example will be considered with critical incidents discussed and essential cross-cultural counseling competencies will be addressed.     

Communication and decision‐making styles,power base usage,and satisfaction in marital dyads

This research focused on use of power, decision‐making and communication styles of spouses in marital dyads, and the level of marital satisfaction of the partners in these relationships. Drawing primarily on previous work involving Management Communication Style and decision‐making styles in organizational and instructional communication contexts, but also examining directly relevant work within the marital context, three hypotheses and five research questions were advanced. Marital satisfaction for members of 136 marital dyads was examined to determine its relationship with self‐ and spouse‐reported communication and decision‐making styles and use of various power bases in communication designed to influence marital partner. The three hypotheses were supported by the findings: 1) Self‐reported satisfaction as a member of a marital dyad was positively related to the spouse's use of a more co‐active style of communication and decision‐making; 2) Such satisfaction was positively related to one's spouse's communication of referent power; and 3) Such satisfaction was negatively related to one's spouse's communication of coercive power. Use of reward power was also found to be negatively associated with a spouse's marital satisfaction. With only one meaningful exception, results for husbands and wives were very similar.
