Young people’s and parent’s perceptions of managed moves

The current research aimed to increase understanding of the experiences of young people and their parents of managed moves, what contributed to success and the nature of the challenges experienced. The study was conducted in one English Local Authority, where five young people and their parents were interviewed. Five superordinate themes emerged from the interviews, relating to: the initial process (people, trail period, managed moves as a positive solution); the reasons for the move (bullying/social isolation, breakdown in relationships with staff); conceptions of success (happiness, improved self-perceptions, learning and progress), factors contributing to success (fresh start/clean slate; home–school communication; pastoral support, school suitability) and problems arising (moving a problem, narratives around young people, timing and family stress). The findings are discussed in relation to implications for practice.     

论高校固定资产的管理

高校的固定资产是国有资产的重要组成部分，是高校开展一切经济活动的物质基础。随着经济的发展，高校固定资产在管理上存在的问题也越来越明显。本文主要从高校近年来固定资产管理情况入手，对高校固定资产管理方面存在的问题提出相应的解决办法，从而进一步提高高校固定资产管理工作现代化、规范化、科学化水平，推动高校固定资产管理工作，使之更加适应学校发展的要求。

亚洲金融危机后，在国际政策圈和理论界对国际金融架构的讨论中，汇率制度成为中心论题之一，其中，尤为引人关注的是“中间制度消失论”的兴趣，由此激起了各方热烈的讨论和交锋，全面分析和透视这场国际争论可以发现，各方就未来汇率制度提出的许多建议，既在某些方面达成了一致，也存在着明显的分歧；但有一点可以肯定，未来国际汇率制度的走向将在很大程度上受到这场讨论的影响。     

‘That's how it works here’: The place of religion in publicly managed second-level schools in Ireland

This article problematises the place of religion within publicly managed Education and Training Board (ETB) schools in the Republic of Ireland. The study draws on interview data from 43 school personnel across 18 ETB second-level schools, as well as eight interviews with ETB Education/Chief Executive Officers. Having established the legal and historical contexts, the place of religion is explored from the perspective of school life and prescribed curriculum. Across the 18 schools, the prescribed curriculum for Religious Education did not take the form of ‘faith formation’. Rather, focus was placed on exploring all world religions. However, this compares with the role of religion within the life of the school; 14 of the 18 participating schools had religious dimensions as part of school life. Half of these schools (n = 7) were Designated Community Colleges, while the remainder were Non-Designated (n = 7). The religious dimension was always Catholic in nature. Bar a few exceptions, the role of religion within the life of the school remained largely unquestioned by school personnel. The article explores the findings in light of the legislative and historical contexts.     

Moving or Leaving

Abstract

Difficult decisions about the collection had to be madeby the library staff planning the moveto thenew Walter C. Koerner Library at the University of British Columbia. Thislibrary wasto bethe center for servicesto Humanities and Social Sciencesusers, but could accommodate only 60% of the Humanitiesand Social Sciences collectionshoused in the old Main Library. The staff had to decide what parts of the collection to move and what to leave in the old building, against the day when the second phase of the Koerner Library should be built. This article describes howthese difficult choices were made, including the consultation process, the development of criteria to split the collection, and their implementa-tion.

结合ICU规则评分标准,对2013年世界啦啦操锦标赛集体花球组前三名队伍的编排要素进行分析,研究发现：高水平队伍均在服务成套动作主题思想的大前提下进行创编,突出主题和特色,且具有创新性、复杂性的特点,并提出相关建议。     

Implementing the Generalist Model in Practice

Abstract

Through a study of field tasks performed by MSW foundation students, the authors show an empirical relationship to the Gener-alist model of practice. Secondarily, the paper explores whether practice under managed care should be used to inform curriculum or whether standards embedded in curriculum should be used to influence current practice. Implications for student learning in field and classroom are discussed.     

对巩立姣伦敦奥运会最好成绩的 推铅球滑步技术的运动学分析

采用Dartfish解析法,选取角度、高度、距离等指标,对巩立姣在2012年伦敦奥运会上最好成绩2022 m的推铅球滑步技术进行运动学分析,并与新西兰选手ADAMS Valerie进行比较,指出：巩立姣在团身动作阶段,右腿屈膝程度小,呈现躯干下潜、臀高肩低的姿态;在背向滑步右脚离地瞬间,左腿摆动过高,重心向投掷方向移动不充分、躯干起伏较大;在右脚着地瞬间,滑步距离较短、左侧肢体的回扣松散,超越器械幅度小;在左脚着地瞬间,左脚落于投掷中线上,两脚间左右距离过小、前后距离过大,超越器械不充分。针对以上问题,提出改善建议,为其今后技术训练和水平提升提供参考。     

河南省民办养老机构老年人体育健身现状调查

运用文献资料、问卷调查等研究方法,对河南省6个地市的467位民办养老机构的入住老人进行调查,结果表明：河南省民办养老机构老年人的健身意识较强,但是缺乏足够的健身场地和健身指导人员;河南省民办养老机构老年人健身的频率高,持续时间长,但是运动强度却很弱;健身的动机多为增强身体抵御疾病的能力和减缓衰老、延年益寿。鉴于这种情况提出相应的对策与建议。
