从观看到行动——奥古斯都·波瓦的戏剧介入探析

奥古斯都·波瓦建构了一种以观演者为中心的剧场空间,他在布莱希特的基础上更彻底地瓦解了“第四堵墙”。基于平等的介入理念,波瓦重构了剧场空间中演员与观众的位置权力关系,旨在激发参与者的主动性,使其不再是被动观看的观众,并且通过自身的行动来唤醒自己的主体性。其目的在于通过平等的观演关系来消除戏剧介入中启蒙者与被启蒙者之间的二元对立,把剧场内部的平等推向社会。波瓦的戏剧介入关注到了具身性经验中所存留的身体主体性,对先前强调理性意识觉醒的戏剧介入进行了重要的增补。

随着经济和社会的发展,英语口语越来越受到学生的重视,大学英语教学改革必须要“以人为本”“与时俱进”,所以在大学英语期考中增加口试是十分必要的,它激励学生在平时学习中要注重锻炼自己的口语。教师将“读者剧场”运用到口试中,不仅可以增加测试本身的趣味性,也能提高学生综合语言素质。本文对大学英语口试和“读者剧场”进行分析,从两者特点出发,探寻二者结合的优势之处,以及教师在实施“读者剧场”过程中的注意事项。

Nurturing Emergent Readers Through Readers Theater

Readers theater is a familiar literacy strategy for children who can read independently; however, it can also be used with younger children who have not yet developed independent reading skills. The purpose of this article is to adapt the concept of readers theater for use with emergent readers. It focuses first on defining readers theater and its many benefits, particularly in the areas of literacy development. Finally, it includes suggestions for successfully implementing a readers theater program with young children.

An education that pierces what the knife cannot: A student perspective

If personalized medicine is the way of the future, and the physician's approach to each patient becomes more individualized and team‐based, so must the professors' approach to the medical student experience. Mayo Medical School has an innovative curriculum designed to respect and enhance the individual interests of its students. A former educator herself, and now a medical student, the author advocates for further creative curriculum design to enhance healthy student attitude learning in medical school. In her personal testimony to the healing power of art and story, she cautions institutions that ignore integrating humanities into their curriculum that their student physicians will build self‐protective barriers without self‐reflection. She argues students must have more avenues to express their emotions during difficult transitions and ethical dilemmas. This commentary describes extracurricular student projects during anatomy, and includes an example of student reflective writing in anatomy. The author suggests that narrative medicine as an emerging discipline would be an effective educational strategy when applied to any aspect of the medical curriculum, and should be considered by more medical schools for further progress in medical education. ImaginOn,The First Twenty‐First Century Public Library Building in the U.S.

This article presents a portrait of ImaginOn, a combined children's library and theater building in Charlotte, NC. Unlike so many modern library buildings intended primarily as warehouses for materials or as civic icons, this structure is designed to encourage visitors to experience the joy to be found in stories of all kinds. The author conveys the excitement of ImaginOn and, using photographs, highlights the principal features of the structure.     

Videotaping as a Means of Self-Monitoring to Improve Theater Students' Performance

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of retroactive and focused self-monitoring, actualized by videotaping, on children's theater performance. In Experiment 1, 20 students in a theater performance program were randomly assigned to either a control or a self-monitoring condition, and their weekly rehearsals were videotaped. Only students in the self-monitoring condition viewed their videotaped rehearsals. The authors found that retroactive self-monitoring enhanced theater performance. In Experiment 2, 36 children preparing for a Christmas play were randomly assigned to either a focused or to a general self-monitoring condition. They viewed their videotaped rehearsals; the focused self-monitoring group received a list of important aspects of the performance to watch. The focused self-monitoring enhanced the children's performance in the play.     

现代戏剧改写中的实用功利主义

在中西文化碰撞、融合的语境下，中国现代戏剧的创作免不了受欧美近现代戏剧的影响，体现出世界戏剧发展的某种交互性，并显示出自己的发展路向。如熊佛西的《喇叭》，在主要人物配置和基本故事框架上借鉴了奥尼尔的《天边外》，关注的是艺术与现实的关系问题，但是在主题思想的开掘上，作者放弃了自己固有的知识分子立场，以实用功利主义迁就社会大众和现实局势的需要。这种现象在中国现代戏剧中较为普遍，其成败得失值得我们反思。
