调查研究1996～2003年4月间我国图书馆学、情报学基金论文情况(包括论文数量、类别及年代分布、期刊分布、主题分布)和基金论文作者情况(包括作者系统分布、地区分布、多产作者分布、职称分布、合作类型分布)，并对有关数据进行定量分析。     

Demonstrating Library Impact Through Acknowledgment: An Examination of Acknowledgments in Theses and Dissertations

Academic libraries are increasingly seeking ways to demonstrate their impact on student learning. Acknowledgments - formal statements of indebtedness – in graduate theses and dissertations provide a rather unexplored area for demonstrating impact of the academic library on student learning. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods to characterize acknowledgments of the Texas A&M University Libraries (TAMU Libraries) in theses and dissertations, both overall and for three disciplines specifically: civil engineering, geography, and history. This study also searched for mentions of the TAMU Libraries throughout the entire body of theses and dissertations. Overall, acknowledgments to the TAMU Libraries in theses and dissertations were less than 1%, though acknowledgments were found in all three disciplines with over a quarter of the history theses and dissertations containing an acknowledgment to libraries. There was no statistically significant difference found between the numbers of acknowledgments in theses versus dissertations. Acknowledgments to the TAMU Libraries were found in the theses and dissertations of 28 different departments. Mentions to the TAMU Libraries – not necessarily a formal acknowledgment – were found throughout the text of theses and dissertations with most concentrated in the acknowledgment, method, and bibliography sections.     

Revealing future research capacity from an analysis of a national database of discipline-coded Australian PhD thesis records

This article reports how statistical analyses of PhD thesis records can reveal future research capacities for disciplines beyond their primary fields. The previous research showed that most theses contributed to and/or used methodologies from more than one discipline. In Australia, there was a concern for declining mathematical teaching and research capacity. We decided to investigate the ‘hidden’ mathematics research capacity in PhDs outside of mathematics. Australian PhD records were re-coded with up to three fields. Records with mathematics as one of their codes were selected and analysed for their relationships to disciplines in their other codes. Triple-coding revealed ‘hidden’ mathematical research capacity that had previously been single-coded in another field had mathematics as one of their subsequent fields. Our findings have implications for policy and planning for mathematics in Australia, and multiple coding of PhD theses records enables analyses for other disciplines to be undertaken to show their research capacities.     

中美博硕士学位论文使用授权协议比较

针对国内学位论文使用授权协议制定尚未完善的现状,探究授权协议的规范与实施,促进国内更好地进行学位论文资源的传播和利用。文章采用网络调查法对中美各20所高校的学位论文版权政策及授权协议进行比较分析,调查发现:相较于美国高校,中国高校授权协议在规范性、友好度等方面的表现存在欠缺。基于此,中国高校可借鉴美国高校的管理经验,从明确学位论文版权归属、规范授权流程、加强版权管理、建立分级管理模式等方面进行改进。     

浅析高校教师指导本科生毕业论文工作改革

高校本科生毕业论文质量的优劣,对本科生整体素质的评价存在着至关重要的意义。本文在认识了本科生毕业论文的重要性的前提下,浅析导致本科生毕业论文质量下降的原因和教师在指导学生毕业论文中的重要地位,并对教师在指导本科生毕业论文工作中的改革方向提出了建议。

2006-2009年《图书馆论坛》基金资助论文分析——继1993-2005年该刊基金资助论文的再分析

运用文献计量学方法,从基金论文率、资助基金级别、论文主题、合著率、合作度、发文机构、作者所在区域和作者职称等角度,对2006-2009年《图书馆论坛》所载基金资助论文进行定量分析,以持续了解该刊的基金论文状况,科学评价该刊的情报能力。     

2009-2011年《情报科学》基金资助论文计量分析

以CSSCI为数据源,运用文献计量学方法,从基金论文率、基金级别、论文主题、合著率、发文机构、发文作者及所在区域等角度,对2009-2011年《情报科学》所刊载的543篇基金论文进行定量分析。结果表明:近年来该刊基金论文率呈直线上升趋势,吸纳高级别及国外基金论文的能力不断增强;形成了较为稳定的核心发文单位和高产作者,多人合著是完成的主要形式;论文主题涉及范围宽泛,重点突出。
