基于内容的图像检索之相关标准研究

论述基于内容的图像检索(CBIR)的3类标准：图像压缩标准、查询语言和信息内容描述标准，分析其存在的问题并提出解决方法，最后重点剖析多媒体信息描述国际标准MPEG-7的内容及其在CBIR中的应用。

本介绍了图像去噪的原理，并对几种图像去噪方法进行了分析，提出了一种基于高阶统计量的图像去噪法，实验表明，这种方法具有较好的去噪效果。     

Placing wireless tablets in clinical settings for patient education

Objective

The authors explored the feasibility and possible benefit of tablet-based educational materials for patients in clinic waiting areas.

Methods

We distributed eight tablets preloaded with diagnosis-relevant information in two clinic waiting areas. Patients were surveyed about satisfaction, usability, and effects on learning. Technical issues were resolved.

Results

Thirty-seven of forty patients completed the survey. On average, the patients were satisfied in all categories.

Conclusions

Placing tablet-based educational materials in clinic waiting areas is relatively easy to implement. Patients using tablets reported satisfaction across three domains: usability, education, and satisfaction.     

利用Matlab模拟混沌系统

以Rossler方程、Duffing方程和Vander pol方程为例，应用Marlab仿真工具进行模拟，并对仿真结果作了简要说明和讨论，其中的示例对混沌研究和教学有一定的意义。     

Random vibration analysis of switching apparatus based on Monte Carlo method

The performance in vibration environment of switching apparatus containing mechanical contact is an important element when judging the apparatus’s reliability. A piecewise linear two-degrees-of-freedom mathematical model considering contact loss was built in this work, and the vibration performance of the model under random external Gaussian white noise excitation was investigated by using Monte Carlo simulation in Matlab/Simulink. Simulation showed that the spectral content and statistical characters of the contact force coincided strongly with reality. The random vibration character of the contact system was solved using time (numerical) domain simulation in this paper. Conclusions reached here are of great importance for reliability design of switching apparatus.     

基于Matlab GUI的薄膜干涉仿真

为动态反映薄膜干涉图样随波长和干涉装置的几何参数的改变而产生的变化,利用Matlab图形用户界面的设计和开发功能,结合真实的可见光谱,制作了劈尖干涉、牛顿环干涉以及迈克尔逊干涉的交互式图形仿真界面.仿真结果图形细致逼真,使该过程的物理规律直观形象,有助于学生理解这几种典型薄膜干涉过程中的物理规律.
