留学生在课外实践汉语的过程中存在着几个值得我们注意的问题:交际对象过多局限于本国人和其他外国人圈子;文化与环境适应能力不强;未能充分利用有利语言环境增加可懂输入量;把汉语当作一种知识来进行记忆,实际运用不足等等。总之,我们认为,要想改变现状,就必须加强对留学生课外实践活动的指导。  相似文献

This article describes the rights-based approach to access to information and communications technologies (ICT) used by the Council of Canadians with Disabilities (CCD). This approach challenges the thinking of policymakers, those in industry, and others who argue that access to ICT can be achieved through a variety of economic, business, or market-based perspectives. It argues that these approaches have failed to deliver accessible ICT to people with disabilities, and that improved legislation, regulation, policy, and programs are required to remove the barriers to ICT experienced by people with disabilities in Canada.  相似文献

通过对广州市10个区级图书馆的调查,发现图书馆视障阅览室普遍存在利用率低的“遇冷”现象。从无障碍意识、视障读者需求、图书馆服务和视障读者自身的因素等方面分析其成因,指出视障阅览室必须扭转“遇冷”的局面:强化无障碍意识,完善无障碍环境建设;以人为本,创新无障碍服务方式;尊重视障读者,打造无障碍的人文环境;加强合作,提升无障碍服务的整体效能;加强队伍建设,提高无障碍服务水平。  相似文献

Writing for a reading age of 12 (or Reading Grade Level of 6 to 7) has long been considered a benchmark for accessible writing, the ‘sweet spot’ we should aim for to ensure our texts are accessible to a broad public audience. But what does a reading age of 12 actually mean and is it still useful as a guiding principle? This paper turns to emerging research in the field of academic literacies to review the concept of a reading age of 12 and consider what accessibility means in terms of language. It shows that while the idea of a 12‐year‐old as a benchmark has value, the basis on which it is typically determined is unhelpful if not misleading, and argues for an alternative approach based on meaning. It uses this approach to propose some practical strategies for understanding the key differences between everyday and academic language so that as authors, curators, educators, editors and publishers we can reach our audiences with greater inclusiveness and effectiveness.  相似文献

With equal access requirements and increasing rates of enrolment of students with disabilities in higher education, universities must find appropriate and efficient ways to create accessible materials which benefit and support all students. In response to cuts to disability funding, issues relating to the provision of an inclusive curriculum are now dominating institutional policy and educational discourses. This paper reports on a trans-Atlantic project which utilised student employees to convert and develop inclusive learning materials for their peers, with the expressed purpose of piloting a sustainable intervention method generalisable to meeting similar needs of diverse universities for inclusive material provision and a future workforce aware of disability issues and accommodations. Qualitative in-depth interviews with ten students (eight UK and two US) find that involving student employees in the delivery of inclusive materials improves partnerships and attitudes around disability and accessibility measures.  相似文献

以视力障碍者为调查对象,通过问卷调查了解他们的阅读现状及在阅读方面所获社会支持的情况及需求。调查结果显示,目前我国视障者阅读热情高,能利用多种技术辅助阅读,免费读物接受面广。但在阅读方面所获社会支持仍较有限且处于初级阶段,政府、图书馆、视障团体等在支持和促进无障碍阅读上可发挥更大作用,以推进全民阅读,体现社会均等融合。  相似文献
