世界新闻通史体系刍议

本文归纳了已有外国新闻史研究的四种模式 ,并指陈其利弊。在此基础上 ,提出建立世界新闻通史体系的治学观点———空间上 ,能涵盖中外 ,以整个世界新闻传播全局为对象 ;时间上应古今贯通 ;研究对象上应涉及新闻事业、新闻制度和新闻观念     

CAS理论视角下Web2.0序化研究

CAS理论认为宏观的演化过程可以从个体行为规律中找到根源,本文以此为依据从系统微观层面出发,探讨了Web2.0系统的序化机制。本文以CAS理论为蓝图,构建了Web2.0的理论模型,界定了系统主体及各特征机制,并结合豆瓣实例阐释了主体适应与交互导致有序的机理。     

Outstanding performances during elite-standard short and middle-distance finals and the hyperandrogenism regulation—A detailed analysis of Caster Semenya’s results

ABSTRACT

Recently, there has been much controversy over the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) regulations regarding eligibility to compete and natural testosterone levels in female athletes. Much interest lies in the analysis of Caster Semenya's extraordinary performance. The objective of this work were, a) Complete an analysis of Caster Semenya's results during the 800m finals and b) search for existing similar performances by other female athletes. We analysed the results of the finals of all IAAF World Championships and Olympic Games from 1984–2016, including the 800m results of the Diamond Leagues 2016–2018. Exponential curves were fit to the data to characterise and predict performance for each event. Caster Semenya's finishing times before her ineligibility to compete and after the suspension of the IAAF hyperandrogenism regulation were found to be 1.24% and 1.49%, respectively, faster than the characteristic performance of the elite-standard in the women’s 800m final. Other female athletes, with finishing times faster than the ones predicted by the characteristic curves were also discovered. The percentage difference in performance between Caster Semenya and the other participants did not reach 3% in the 800m event. No conclusions can be drawn regarding extraordinary results ever performed during the 100m, 200m or 400m finals.     

The role of self-construal in moderating the advertising repetition effect: evidence from Korea

This study explored the role of self-construal in moderating the effect of same- and varied-ad repetition on consumer response to advertising and brand on the basis of self-construal and encoding variability theory. In the study, subjects primed with independent or interdependent self-construal were exposed to either the same or varied ads. Findings indicate that, for foreground information in ad, independent self-construal subjects elicited more than interdependent self-construal subjects in same-ad repetition whereas there was no difference between independent and interdependent self-construal subjects in varied-ad repetition. However, for background information, interdependent self-construal subjects performed better than independent self-construal subjects in both same- and varied-ad repetition. In the case of brand recall, in varied-ad repetition, interdependent self-construal subjects recalled better than independent self-construal subjects did, whereas there was no difference between interdependent and independent self-construal subjects in same-ad repetition. It was also found interdependent self-construal subjects evaluated the target brand more positively than independent self-construal subjects did in varied-ad repetition. However, there was no difference in brand attitude between independent and interdependent subjects in same-ad repetition.

Hybrid ants-like search algorithms for P2P media streaming distribution in ad hoc networks

Media streaming delivery in wireless ad hoc networks is challenging due to the stringent resource restrictions,po-tential high loss rate and the decentralized architecture. To support long and high-quality streams,one viable approach is that a media stream is partitioned into segments,and then the segments are replicated in a network and served in a peer-to-peer(P2P) fashion. However,the searching strategy for segments is one key problem with the approach. This paper proposes a hybrid ants-like search algorithm(HASA) for P2P media streaming distribution in ad hoc networks. It takes the advantages of random walks and ants-like algorithms for searching in unstructured P2P networks,such as low transmitting latency,less jitter times,and low unnecessary traffic. We quantify the performance of our scheme in terms of response time,jitter times,and network messages for media streaming distribution. Simulation results showed that it can effectively improve the search efficiency for P2P media streaming distribution in ad hoc networks.     

中国科学院在我国纳米科技研究中的作用与地位分析

本文结合我国、中国科学院纳米科技研究的发展历程,从研究项目的组织与实施、研究资源的优化与整合及研究成果的获得与影响等各方面对中科院在我国纳米科技研究中的作用与地位进行了分析,同时提出了中科院乃至我国在纳米科技研究领域中存在的问题与建议,希望能对我国未来纳米科技发展有所裨益。     

基于CAS理论的有限理性项目经济评价研究

从复杂适应系统理论视角,应用CAS理论重新客观全面地描述了投资项目经济评价系统,建立了有限理性项目经济评价模型。有限理性项目经济评价模型将项目信息划分为三类,即确定性信息、风险信息和不确定信息,并从这三个信息维度综合评价投资项目,对传统经济评价方法作了探索和改进。     

美国国务院对华文化外交的出台

长期以来,美国对外的文化和教育交流活动一直是由民间组织和个人发起并实施的,1938年国务院建立文化关系司,是美国政府致力于"文化外交"的开端。美国试图通过与其他国家及其人民之间观念、信息、艺术和文化的其他要素的交流来促进相互理解。1941年末太平洋战争爆发以后,为了扶植中国以抵抗日本的攻势,减轻对美国本土的威胁,从而赢得太平洋战争的胜利,美国国务院开始筹划实施专门针对中国的文化教育交流与合作项目。     

图书馆知识服务转型如何因势利导 ——从CAS服务演进谈起

[目的/意义]旨在为图书馆知识服务转型提供参考。[方法/过程]跟踪CAS的产品更迭、需求定位、标引特色、检索功能、学术合作等方面,分析CAS服务演进与图书馆知识服务转型的关联。[结果/讨论]结合上海图书馆利用CAS产品开展知识服务的实践情况,从馆藏资源布局、人才培养、知识服务模式设计、图书馆增值服务四个方面探索图书馆知识服务转型发展的新思路。
