浅谈回溯建库

回溯建设是实现图书馆现代化管理的前提，如何保证数据质量、实现数据的标准化和规范化是回溯建库的重点和难点。     

Learning through engaging in retrospective reflection on a change process in an English course on workplace communication

This study describes a change process of implementing role-plays in a course on workplace communication in English, and of engaging in retrospective reflection. Considering that English education for nursing students in Taiwan has focused on the development of medical terminology and that students’ communicative competence is the main deficiency, the author conducted the change process in a medium-scale district hospital where she worked as a clinical nurse and in a nursing college where she taught English as a part-time teacher. The results show that engaging in retrospective reflection allows a teacher to construct knowledge from experience for professional growth.     

猪肉产品流通追溯中的一维编码技术比较研究

本文从对实际农业企业的调研出发,分析猪肉产品流通环节信息追溯的实际需求,提出编码思想后,初步设计一个编码结构,并通过对几种常见一维编码技术的比较分析,选定追溯系统采用128码为编码技术。     

乳腺肿瘤印片细胞学检查与组织病理学诊断符合率分析

目的：研究乳腺肿瘤组织印片细胞学检查与组织病理学定性诊断符合率,探讨印片细胞学检查在临床病理学诊断中的应用价值。方法：回顾性分析2004-01—2008-01月采用印片法观察123例新鲜离体乳腺包块,与组织病理切片诊断结果对照分析。结果：总体定性诊断符合率95．93％（118／123）,其中恶性肿瘤96．3％,良性肿瘤为95．2％,误诊率为2．44％。结论：组织印片细胞学检查是组织病理学诊断一种有效的补充,也是对术中切除组织筛检定性的一种快捷方法。     

北京大学图书馆系统的规划与建设

介绍了北京大学图书馆在创建一流大学过程中进行分馆数据库建设的指导原则和具体做法,取得的初期成果,分析了分馆建设和中心馆工作的互动作用,提出了分馆建设引发的反思,同时也介绍了回溯编目依靠专业队伍突击完成的经验体会。     

Multi-method assessment of metacognitive skills in elementary school children: how you test is what you get

Third grade elementary school children solved tests on mathematical reasoning and numerical facility. Metacognitive skillfulness was assessed through think aloud protocols, prospective and retrospective child ratings, teacher questionnaires, calibration measures and EPA2000. In our dataset metacognition has a lot in common with intelligence, but planning measured with teacher ratings plays a role above and beyond IQ. Moreover, we found that skills are generally related, but that it is more appropriate to assess them separately. In addition, results show the value of an experienced teacher as actual measure of metacognitive planning skills. Our dataset suggests convergent validity for prospective and retrospective child ratings, but no significant relationship with the other metacognitive measures. Metacognitive skillfulness combined with intelligence accounts for between 52.9% and 76.5% of the mathematics performances. The choice of diagnostic instruments highly determines the predicted percentage. Consequences for the assessment of metacognitive skills are discussed.

“They were the ones that saw me and listened.” From child sexual abuse to disclosure: Adults’ recalls of the process towards final disclosure

BackgroundWhen child sexual abuse (CSA) is not disclosed, children run the risk of being subjected to longer or repeated abuse, not receiving necessary treatment, and being re-victimized.ObjectiveThis study examines what adults exposed to child sexual abuse in hindsight evaluate as important for disclosure. The aim was to explore exposed own experiences of steps towards final disclosure.Participants and settingData were obtained from adult users of Norwegian Sexual Abuse Support Centers. Included were users exposed to CSA before the age of 18 (N=23).MethodsData were collected through anonymous questionnaires at each support center. The material was transcribed and analyzed in the tradition of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis.ResultsThe study illustrates a process towards disclosure as a dialogically anchored process evolving over time and along life-course inside encounters with important others towards whom the exposed pays attention, attunement, and adjustment whether to tell, delay, re-try, turn towards others, or actually disclose. Their experiences elucidate processes towards exploring and telling through direct and indirect hints and signs, decisions to tell, re-decisions and delaying, or withholding until adulthood, and the dependency on trusted confidants who ask and listen for final disclosure to occur.ConclusionThus, the present study sends an important message to exposed, confidants, and professionals when questions of CSA appear. That is to know of, facilitate, trust, and tolerate the dialogical dependency on being asked and heard by trusted persons and the many steps a process towards disclosure of CSA may entail in order to succeed.     

Childhood maltreatment in South Korea: retrospective study

Objective

This study explored the prevalence of childhood maltreatment in South Korea using the retrospective version of ICAST and the associations between perceptions of abuse experienced during childhood and recent interpersonal problems and depression.

Methods

539 young persons, aged 18–24 years, from various universities, work places, and clinical settings participated in a study using the ISPCAN Child Abuse Screening Tool-Retrospective Version (ICAST-R), the short form of the Korean-Inventory of Interpersonal Problems Circumplex Scale (KIIP-SC), and the Korean version of the Beck Depression Inventory (K-BDI).

Results

While males reported more physical abuse, females reported being exposed to more emotional or sexual abuse. The proportion of reported extra-familial or peer abuse was relatively high. Interpersonal problems and depression were significantly high for those who experienced all types of abuse during childhood. Perception of physical abuse as reasonable/justified discipline affected interpersonal problems and perception of emotional abuse when compared to peers affected interpersonal problems and depression. Unlike previous studies, this study identified more depressive symptoms reported with disclosure of sexual abuse.

Practice implications

These findings highlight the importance of understanding how one perceives maltreatment. Perceiving an abusive act as a justifiable disciplinary method may affect reporting as well as longer term consequences for the victim. A wide range of perpetrators and different settings in which maltreatment may occur must be considered as influencing these perceptions. This study contributed to the determination of validity of the ICAST-R for use in wider population surveys.
