学科环境的变化与目录学变革路径

传统上,目录学是与校雠、版本等学科共同发展起来的,在治学术史和文化方面都发挥着重要作用。数字时代,目录学的生存环境发生了深刻变化。信息数量、类型、传输方式以及用户行为的变化对目录学提出了新的要求。本文在分析数字时代目录学学科环境特点的基础上,提出了目录学变革的四条路径:目录学学科化、书目工作职业化、发展通用技术以及建立现代目录学逻辑体系。

Proximal advantage in knowledge diffusion: The time dimension

This paper intends to explore the impact of geographic proximity on the diffusion of knowledge in the form of publication citations, and argues that codified knowledge is transmitted faster in proximity and is subject to similar geographic constraints as tacit knowledge. The geographic proximity advantage would be particularly relevant in the early stage of dissemination. We collected three sets of research articles published in 1990, 2000 and 2010 and compared the longitudinal citations they received domestically and from abroad. The study found that domestic citations accumulate faster and reach their peak much earlier than foreign citations, and the difference is most evident in the first few years after publication. The result shows that geographic proximity does play a role in the speed of knowledge diffusion and points to the network effect for citations. Those located closer to the knowledge origin would be exposed and react to publications faster due to the additional opportunities of research exchange and network.     

College course scarcity and time to degree

College students are taking longer to earn baccalaureate degrees now than ever before, but little is known about institutional factors that may contribute to this trend. In this paper we investigate an important institutional constraint—course scarcity—that we hypothesize may be associated with increased time to degree. We employ a unique administrative dataset from a large, moderately selective, public institution and use an instrumental variables approach, identifying off the random registration times assigned to students. Results suggest that course scarcity does not delay students’ graduation. We explore alternative explanations for our findings and discuss a variety of other factors correlated with time to baccalaureate completion.

从《平妖传》时间副词使用情况看近代汉语时间副词发展的特点及原因

《平妖传》是一部近代汉语文献,一直以来,关于该书的研究成果不多见。笔者经过初步考察,发现其中一些语言现象是有深入研究的必要的。近代汉语时期,时间副词得到了长足发展,主要呈现出五个方面的特点:1、数量的增加;2、新旧的更替;3、表时分工的细致化;4、文言词语使用的定型化;5、“三时”发展的不平衡。究其原因主要与汉语自身的特点有密切关系。     

先秦秦汉时期的伐木时间问题

本文从先秦秦汉文献出发,分析了先秦秦汉时期伐木以时的生产实践规律,讨论了总取林木和随时取林木的时间问题以及伐木以时在尊重林木生长规律和拥有可持续使用林木资源上的意义。

Beside his humorous language, surprising ends and expressions, O·Henry’s novels in my opinion is also marvelous for his outstanding narrative patterns arrangement. In this article, a research will be conducted onto his narrative pattern in the aspects of narrative perspectives, narrative space and narrative time. By this research, more information and references is intended to obtain for the further study on this area.
