曹七巧这一文学形象是张爱玲对中国现代文学的一个贡献。半封建半殖民地的十里洋场是曹七巧悲剧形成的肥沃土壤。金钱与门第观念的迫害，使她从一个具有青春温情回忆的可爱姑娘变成一个阴鸷毒辣凶狠残酷的老太婆。在潜意识性变态心理、仇视与嫉妒心理、有意识寡居者护犊心理的驱使下，她反过来“食”了自己亲生子女的幸福，使她从一个“被食者”沦为“食人者”，成为一个“彻底的人物”。     

农村高三学生英语感知学习风格之调研

对农村高三学生的英语感知学习风格进行的调查结果分析显示:农村高三学生喜欢多种英语感知学习风格,最喜欢动手学习风格,最不喜欢单独学习风格;女生比男生更喜欢听觉学习和体验学习风格;英语水平对感知学习风格没有显著性影响;动手学习风格和写作技能有一定的相关性。英语教师应根据学生的感知学习风格灵活应用多种教学方法,指导学生调整和丰富多种感知学习风格以促进教与学的协调发展。     

大四学生逃课现象及原因分析

目前大部分高校中存在着大四学生部分忙于参加各种人才招聘会,部分忙于考研、考公务员和各种资格证书,而课堂、实习出勤率低,毕业论文（设计）敷衍了事等现象,使得大学四年制的教育缩水成为了争论的焦点。本文从社会、学校、家庭及学生的层面分析其原因,希望引起相关部门的足够重视,改善大四学生的教育工作。     

Learning in Retirement and Old Age: an agenda for the 21st century

This article is about education and learning for the ‘retired’. In using this term, it is recognised that any such definitions and given age bands cover a wide range of situations and learning needs. Such diversity should closely inform the educational agenda for older adults, and as it is a life phase defined by challenge and change ‘learning to be’ encapsulates much that is essential to that agenda. The international evidence shows how rapidly our societies are ageing, and how much longer is spent in retirement: so rapid is that change and so large the numbers of seniors and the elderly that the active nature of learning represents a critical aspect of response to this major phenomenon. Contrary to a popular image of declining skills and capacities, the evidence reveals a much more nuanced picture of capability among the retired. Comparisons are drawn with the early childhood sector, which had parallel characteristics but which has since moved rapidly upwards among policy priorities. In conclusion, the article argues that ‘active ageing’ rather than ‘lifelong learning’ represents a more promising embracing framework through which to develop learning in retirement and old age.

The Effects of Discipline on Deep Approaches to Student Learning and College Outcomes

“Deep learning” represents student engagement in approaches to learning that emphasize integration, synthesis, and reflection. Because learning is a shared responsibility between students and faculty, it is important to determine whether faculty members emphasize deep approaches to learning and to assess how much students employ these approaches. This study examines the effect of discipline on student use of and faculty members’ emphasis on deep approaches to learning as well as on the relationships between deep approaches to learning and selected educational outcomes. Using data from over 80,000 seniors and 10,000 faculty members we found that deep approaches to learning were more prevalent in Biglan’s soft, pure, and life fields compared to their counterparts. The differences were largest between soft and hard fields. We also found that seniors who engage more frequently in deep learning behaviors report greater educational gains, higher grades, and greater satisfaction with college, and that the strength of these relationships is relatively consistent across disciplinary categories.     

大学三、四年级开设有偿性双向选择式体育选修课的探讨

通过对西北大学三、四年级体育选修课的组织情况以及教学过程中出现问题的分析 ,得出在现阶段的高校中 ,采用有偿的、双向选择的方式来组织三、四年级体育选修课是切实可行的。     

高中生自尊与体育运动关系的研究

运用SEI自尊量表和体育运动问卷对300名高中生进行测试研究,结果发现,高中生的自尊水平受到体育运动的影响。高中生自尊水平存在性别差异,男生自尊水平高于女生;高中生年级之间自尊水平存在极其显著的差异,而且随着年级增高,自尊水平反而降低了。喜欢运动的高中生的自尊明显高于不喜欢运动的高中生,可见体育锻炼能够显著提高高中生的自尊水平。
