黑人性神话与他者身份的建构及其解构——从《土生子》中的跨种族性关系谈起

理查德.赖特的代表作《土生子》被誉为美国黑人文学史上的里程碑式作品、＂抗议小说＂的扛鼎之作,因此学界针对《土生子》的研究多集中于黑白二元对立上,着重探讨的是美国社会制度和种族歧视对美国黑人心灵的戕害及其灾难性后果。在此基础上,本文尝试采用新的视角,以跨种族性关系为切入点,重新审视小说主人公别格的悲剧成因,并且通过分析书中白人如何利用虚假的黑人＂性神话＂构建黑人的他者身份,揭示别格杀害白人姑娘玛丽的讽刺性寓意,彰显＂抗议小说之父＂赖特解构黑人＂性神话＂的创作智慧。

阐述剧场发展历程中的代表性剧场,分析剧场的体型、建筑声学的变化特点,以及20世纪90年代以来剧场发展趋势。     

Multiracial Children in Child Development Textbooks

The 2000 US census was the first to allow respondents to check more than one race/ethnic response for their identity. About 6.8 million Americans did so, and a disproportionate percentage of them were children under age 18 years old. The purpose of this article is to examine the extent to which this change is reflected in contemporary child psychology textbooks. Twelve books were examined to determine whether they covered multiracial and multiethnic children. Results of this study showed that only two of these books addressed issues related to the healthy development of multiracial/multiethnic children in any detail; and, while several used terms such as biracial and bicultural, these terms were always used to describe single-race minority children living in a majority context. The discussion section covers possible reasons for this omission.     

Meeting the Needs of Multiracial and Multiethnic Children in Early Childhood Settings

Early childhood programs have been in the forefront of implementing a multiracial curriculum. Early childhood educators need to extend these approaches to support and embrace multiracial and multiethnic children. These are children whose biological parents crossed traditional U.S. Census categories to have children. To meet the unique needs of these children and their families, early childhood educators need to engage in staff training, provide classroom materials, work closely with parents, and challenge the single race approach to multicultural education.     

‘WHAT DO YOU EXPECT OF THIS FRIEND?’

In Canada during the pre-television era, the perception of radio as an intimate medium profoundly affected the way people ordered their listening, production, performance and discussion of programming. With evidence drawn primarily from Canadian archival sources, this paper contends that radio's perceived intimacy deeply troubled those who considered themselves responsible for the physical and cultural welfare of listeners, and that Canada's early broadcasting experience provided a particularly good example of how worry could become action. Though thinking about intimacy had helped broadcasters before the mid-1930s to understand the function of radio in relation to other media, it also led the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) after its formation in 1936 to scrutinize and control commercial and unsponsored programming, advertising and public service messages alike. The CBC's self-assigned stewardship role – a reaction to plentiful and popular American programming and an emulation of the British Broadcasting Corporation and European services – pushed it toward protecting children and other listeners thought to be gullible or sensitive from programmes that abused the intimate relationship by stepping beyond established boundaries of taste or threatening the Corporation's ‘civilizing’ role.

从民族学、人类学的角度看,《诗·风》中有关"在水一方"式的隔河恋悲剧,表现的是"两合氏族"通婚过程中,同族男女在族内男女严格隔离政策下隔河相望、恋而不成的悲剧.这种同族男女隔河而恋的悲剧,虽然在当时的条件下是被严格禁止的,其结局注定是不会成功的,因而造成恋爱者一定的压抑和忧愁心态,但从人类婚姻史和社会发展史来看,却是人类摆脱远古群婚制的必然产物,因而具有进步意义.     

News narratives as identity performance: A narrative analysis of Taiwanese and international news coverage of interracial intimacy

This study examines news coverage of an assault upon an interracial couple that happened in Taiwan in 2015. Using narrative analysis from a social identity perspective, the study notes that Taiwanese news media suppressed gender salience in their coverage of this incident to construct a favorable Taiwanese identity; nevertheless, this strategy was performed at the price of reducing the urgency to combat sexism at a societal level. International news media framed the same event as a case of both racism and sexism; however, racism was given different symbolic meanings by different media, with each international news press conceptualizing racism in a way that met its local audience’s identity needs. In addition, both Taiwanese and international news organizations employed several social identity strategies in their news coverage to negotiate desirable international relations. These findings reveal that news media function as agents of international communication in today’s age of globalization.     

基于阅读亲密度的高校阅读推广效果影响因素研究

阅读推广人和读者之间的关系会直接影响到读者的阅读接受度以及阅读推广效果,明确阅读推广人和读者之间的亲密关系,有助于高校图书馆了解读者阅读意愿的影响因素,对阅读推广工作的开展具有重要指导作用。笔者基于文献调研的理论基础,提出阅读亲密度的概念;通过调查问卷的方式深入分析阅读亲密度六个属性对读者的影响程度,探索高校读者群体的阅读亲密度属性特征。结果表明:衡量推广人与读者关系的阅读亲密度能直接影响阅读推广的效果;对于高校读者群体,阅读亲密度主要受其相似度和受益度影响,其次为权威度和关联度;阅读亲密度越高的推广人,推荐的书籍越容易被读者接受。

根据统计数据,从音乐厅亲密感的角度出发,探讨亲密感对葡萄园式音乐厅的规模以及演奏台、池座、容积、反射板的尺寸要求。     

宿舍亲密度和适应性与大学生孤独感的关系研究

通过对宿舍亲密度和适应性与大学生孤独感的关系的研究,结果表明:1.在16种宿舍类型中,平衡型宿舍所占比例最大,约为55.7%;中间型次之,占25.7%;极端型最少,占18.6%。2.宿舍亲密度和适应性与大学生孤独感之间存在显著负相关(P<0.01)。3.宿舍实际适应性和理想亲密度对大学生孤独感的预测作用显著(P<0.01)。因此,大学生孤独感与宿舍亲密度和适应性有关,用宿舍实际适应性和理想亲密度能够预测大学生孤独感。
