利用MSN Messenger与Web Quest模式结合进行化学教学

本文对MSN Messenger在教学中的应用进行初探,并以"自然界中的水"为例将MSN Messenger作为基于Internet的化学课程的学习方式WebQuest(网络探究)的实现方式进行探讨.

墨白的中篇小说《民间使者》是一部充满了隐喻意味的文本,通过讲述"我"的民间艺术寻访之旅,带我们领略了民间艺术的精神和魅力,揭示了民间艺术在当下的尴尬境遇。民间艺术中存在着艺术之根,蕴含了关于生命和存在的本真之言说,就精神而言是超越时空的,"我"的民间艺术寻访之旅,因而也是一次灵魂的返乡之旅,是对失落了的艺术精神、生命精神的寻找。     

论《米蒂亚》的时间结构与爱欲主题——从现象学的进路看

欧里庇德斯的《米蒂亚》以米蒂亚的爱情故事为线索,爱情、亲情与权力之间的复杂矛盾相互交织,充分暴露了古希腊的城邦制度、婚姻制度以及男权制度的缺陷。它也揭示了人性本身的悲剧:当爱欲被推到了极端而瞬间落空时,亲子关系也随之毁灭。亲子之情的毁灭成了婚恋关系走向极端的无辜的牺牲品。这一古希腊的人伦悲剧不仅具有重要的历史意义和中西文化比较的参考价值,而且对今天的伦理现状之反省也有诸多启发。对该剧的主题一般有三个理解角度和进路:一是社会学,二是女性主义,三是心理学。从现象学的视角出发,透过贯穿全剧的时间结构——过去(奶娘)、现在(米蒂亚)、未来(信使)——剖析它的戏剧张力、人物性格及人性突围的主题则是一种新的尝试。     

由雨云意象窥探《云使》的文化意蕴

《云使》对于内容与形式的掌控达到了美妙的平衡。作为主体意象雨云,具有自然特性、情爱意味和宗教性意义;“有生”与“无生”投射的是现实与情感的关系、暗含了“梵我合一”的哲学思想;“艳情味”体现世俗情爱欢愉及暗含的超越精神。     

Teenagers' Use of MSN Features,Discussion Topics,and Online Friendship Development: The Impact of Media Richness and Communication Control

With a sample of 248 Hong Kong adolescents, this study probed the impact of media richness and communication control on teenagers' use of MSN® for online friendship development. Both media richness and communication control contributed to MSN's overall functionality and teenagers' self-presentation and friendship development. Media richness positively influenced both social and task communications and shortened the time needed to turn a stranger to friend, whereas communication control showed a positive relationship to social friendship communication. Rich features, such as webcam and MSN Spaces, facilitated the increase of acquaintances, new friends, opposite-sex friends, and total number of friends, whereas messaging helped build close friendships. Overall, media richness and communication control appeared to be valid constructs in explaining teenagers' MSN feature use and online friendship development.     

The Influence of Friends' Instant Messenger Status on Individuals' Coping and Support-Seeking

Although there is an increasing amount of research on social support in cyberspace, little is known about how Internet technologies influence social support among people who share offline personal relationships. The current study examined how friends' instant messenger (IM) status might influence individuals' coping and support-seeking, and what mechanisms could account for those effects. Four hundred and ninety-four college students read and responded to a hypothetical scenario in which they logged onto IM after experiencing a stressful situation. Participants perceived higher levels of self-efficacy, greater stress decrease, and greater likelihood of seeking support from a friend when the friend was said to be online than offline. Perceived social presence mediated the influence of a friend's online status on participants' coping and likelihood of seeking support from the friend.

Designing Software for Learning Logo

Abstract

The use of the Instant Messenger (IM) environment to carry out structured online class discussions in graduate teacher education courses is described. Properties of IM are delineated, and specific procedures in using IM as a vehicle for class discussions are discussed. Attributes of Type II technology applications are addressed directly, and the characteristics of these class activities that correspond with such attributes are discussed in detail. In closing, the authors draw a clear distinction between casual IM use in a class setting and planned, structured implementation of IM as an example of a Type II technology application.
