This paper deals with the conservation of Roy Lichtenstein's outdoor sculpture House I, conducted at Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, Seoul, Korea. Having suffered from direct sunlight for more than a decade, the work presented severe paint fading and chalking. The purpose of the project was to provide the best possible protection by applying a durable paint material, while simultaneously preserving the colored surface that Lichtenstein had intended. A marine paint, which is relatively durable and was also utilized by the artist himself, was selected for the repainting system. An absence of practical experience and knowledge in Korea in relation both to the marine paint and its application led to many difficulties. During the actual application of the new paint, numerous technical problems arose which had to be solved in order to carry out the conservation treatment. To meet this demand, a close adherence to technical practice and an interdisciplinary study were carried out to provide the necessary understanding and compromise. 相似文献

This article reports on the experiences of two lecturers working at the University of Tasmania required to teach outdoor and sustainability education (O&SE) courses online. Using an (auto)ethonographic case-study approach, the lecturers were interviewed with a view to exploring their perceptions, challenges, ethical dilemmas, tensions, opportunities and experiences in this space. A number of themes emerged, including commitment to quality teaching and learning, the role of experience, and experiential learning, in the online space, the challenge of fostering a connection to place, difficulties faced when trying to develop a learning community, and the role of professional learning and support in terms of pedagogy and technology in the online space. These themes, and their implications for teaching and learning in higher education both generally, and specifically in O&SE, are discussed in light of what is a mounting body of literature exploring the move to online delivery in higher education. 相似文献

[目的/意义]保护敦煌文化遗产,为敦煌壁画提供移动视觉搜索服务,以助用户高效、便捷地获取敦煌壁画丰富知识资源。[方法/过程]构建基于BoW的图像底层特征匹配和基于主题标签的高层语义关联的移动视觉搜索模型,用SIFT提取图像局部特征,K-means生成有K个视觉单词组成的视觉词典,计算图像映射到视觉词典的TF-IDF向量,通过内积计算相似度匹配图像并排序;根据图像主题添加语义标签,提取最匹配图像的标签实现语义关联搜索;最后收集1200张敦煌壁画图片验证模型的有效性。[结果/结论]在视觉单词数为1000时BoW+SIFT的图像搜索耗时163ms,且图像大小在0.5-2.5倍范围的准确率在83.7%以上,可有效搜索主题语义关联图像。 相似文献

对高校心理素质教育现状进行研究后发现,现有的心理素质教育模式比较陈旧,学生所学知识、技能多停留在理论层面,不能发挥其实际效用;解决这一问题,急需探寻一条心理素质教育的新路径;户外拓展是一种新兴的、体验式的人才培训方式,从其内容、形式以及开展的功能来看,非常适合学生心理素质的培养;目前,在高校领域内开展户外拓展训练和研究的还为数不多,其应用前景十分广阔;应用型高校应当结合自身的实际情况,适当开展户外素质拓展训练,以增强学生心理素质。 相似文献
